Finding a way to the kingdom a vale proved no problem for Castor. No shortage of boats make their trips between Menagerie and the kingdoms of Remnant regularly, all he had to do was find the right one and blend with its passengers at the right time. He of course could have gone through the proper and more importantly legal means of getting on one of these boats.

But to him, there simply wasn't any fun in it.

Castor much rather steal what he pleased and hide from the crew members on the boat as they made their way to Vale. At least they proved to be entertaining as they failed to find their mysterious stowaway, these games could only last for some long as the boat would eventually arrive at its destination.

Castor couldn't help but be unimpressed by what he saw of Vale, he quickly found himself, lost, tired, and most importantly bored out of his mind. With no interest in heading straight to the huntsman academy, Castor decided to look around hoping something or someone could satiate his appetite for excitement. Such adventures usually end in violence and other debaucherous acts of pure stupidity. Usually, in the form of picking fights with people, most of the people who want to punch Castor in his shit-eating grin tend to have a good reason to do so. After all, Castor wasn't afraid of starting trouble for the sake of it.

In this specific case, however, Castor wasn't the one who started the problem. As three people in uniforms went up to him and started asking him questions. Castor soon realized they were students from Beacon, as their "talk" continued, it seemed they were looking for a supposed hidden fight club of sorts within the area and thought Castor would know the way. The idea did catch his interest. It wasn't much to go on but if the gossip could spread so wildly that even students knew about then chances are Castor could easily find what he was looking for with a little digging.

Worst case scenario he could use the old fashion "Mistral" way of asking nicely, the first place he would look around would be any place that sells food or booze.

After spending a little time making his way around the city Jim decided to head for a location that he had not been in quite some time. A place that he probably would not be the best place to be spotted. Not now that he was one of the respectable huntsmen of Vale. Well at least because he was a huntsmen of Vale. The first adjective there was still a bit debatable, but then again, he probably shouldn't have gone there when he was a student either. Hustling people by feigning a lack of an aura. Easy way to make a few lien and given his prowess it was easy to knock people out without actually permanently damaging them. Of course, such shenanigans would work anymore. Now he was simply just going to sate his curiosity, and at worst take on an equal foe. Though the latter was unlikely.

Making his way down to the docks Jim caught sight and heard a conversation that should have made him a little nervous. A group of clearly Beacon students were inquiring into the very place he was heading. He probably should have been nervous about this prospect. After all last thing the recent graduate was some group of kids going and saying, 'You'll never guess where I saw a huntsmen.' Then again, they would be in just as much if not more shit so with a smirk on his face her just directly interjected.

"...and just what does a group of illustrious students such as yourselves think you'll find in a place like that. Certainly, attendees of Beacon wouldn’t be seeking such a disreputable place."

Even if they had not been their last semester and knew him personally. There would be no mistaking Jim for what he was in his full combat gear with that massive sword slung across his back. Which made it all the sweeter to give these guys a playful little tease before revealing that he genuinely didn't care. Then again if they were familiar with him, they would also be familiar with that fact that he was never one to follow the letter of the law.

Vale needed to stop yanking her around with this whiplash aesthetic... Castles? Classic, sign her up. City? Lovely, couldn't be happier. Ports... This kingdom propped up Beacon Academy and yet the ports here gave off Mistral level vibes of dumpy and crummy! Dumpy and crummy, Showa could deal with, but why did things seem to always loop back to ports nowadays? Living a few extra years never seeing another one of these literal dives again would have been a dream. Not for this koi fish though. Nope. Had to roll a pair of snake eyes for today's little outing courtesy of rumor mill baloney about something or other. Gossip had its hands on the wheel of ruby sneakers tapping a tune on the floor of a transit before the absolute travesty finally smacked her across the face. The whole place was like on a whole other planet where every color besides the dark and gloomy didn't exist. Counting the number of shady guys and gals going around, bending over to start counting the black glittering tips of her toes was the only way she'd really get to plumbing that bucket of inky. Black was prime as a tasteful accent or main attraction for art and fashion. Catch the "Big Fish" bold gloss on the fluffy white hoodie strutting around the block, and maybe catch a fashion sense while they were at it. Wasn't much of that, looking around here. Grey. Slightly darker grey. Just a... whole lot of grey. These people needed to chill with the monochrome palette. Geez... It felt like the dead of night from the lack of any color going around! Lighten up, people! Think about how lonely the other colors are and use them why don't they!?

Did she go color blind on the ride over? What a nightmare that'd be.

At least tall and broad over there made an effort to add some highlights to his outfit. Helped him stand out from the brown suits he was talking with. The big sword was eye-catching too. Don't tell her that was a Huntsman on patrol. Mama needed to paint the town red! Give this place some actual life! That wall they were standing next to would totally make the perfect canvas to tag too...

'I call dibs.' Claim staked, not so subtle glances followed the group as Showa paced back and forth along the sidewalk. A spray can rattling away in her hoodie's pocket as she walked.

Alleyways, abandoned buildings, and all-together demure, what had been planned as a simple exploration mission had quickly turned into a not-so-welcome feeling of nostalgia. A girl in a leather jacket, dark as night, with flowing hair to match and big, triangular ears situated above that prowled along the docks and sidewalks. She moved like a creature of similar origin to her trait, the Faunus in her was showing today if it hadn't been ever before. Wherever she went, her tail followed, floating through the air like a dancer's ribbon, never stationary, always glad to be here. Underneath her leather she wore a purple tanktop, and below that a pair of combat-capris, as she'd taken to calling them, boot-cut short-length pants with two cargo pockets, just as black as the rest of her, but trimmed in purple stitching to match her sneakers and the fingerless gloves that hugged her hands. She'd been enjoying self-expression lately, and a streak of purple dashed along her bangs, completing her palette. Metal hung from her here and there. Three loops on her left ear, a bar in the other, a ring in the center of her nose and bottom lip, stud on her right nostril, studs on her left eyebrow, a stud in her tongue, and just to be sure, studded wrist bands, belt, and choker. She was a stud, what could she say?

The Port of Vale held no mysteries for Fuchsia. If she wanted to, she could turn a corner and find the nearest junkie hiding in a hole. She could hop the right fence and contend with the canines. She could almost count the seconds until the next sound of sirens hit her ears. She kept one hand near her knife. But she wasn't here to find trouble... She was here to find fun, and by the looks of things, and the voices that made her ear twitch nearby, she might very well have found it.

Turning the corner onto an open street, she'd come across a small crowd of people, if one could call it that, all of them standing out to her because that's simply what Beacon Students did. There was some kind of clown-lady pacing, a huge dude with an even huger sword, and some seriously edgy-looking goth kid conversing with a group of what she could only describe as typical run-of-the-mill jocks. Stars, this was prime meat for her past-time. She slinked over to a nearby half-destroyed phone booth without a phone, covered in graffiti, and leaned up against it to light up a smoke she pulled from her coat pocket. One quick flip of her lighter and it was burning, she inhaled, exhaled, and the small cloud rolled into the sky. This would be good.

Castor sighed as the students continued blabbering on the supposed guests of this fight club, a bull Faunus, a man with a skull painted on his face, were some of the few descriptions that caught his attention. Of course, none of them knew where it was...despite know a lot about the people who frequent it. In either case, he figured a little exploration of the area might lead him to the right path.

"I mean a fight club cant be too hard to find right?" It was at this point a new voice caught his interest, the person it came from almost seemed to loom over Castor and the other students. Decked in armor and armed with a sword that was larger than most people, it was clear he was talking to a huntsman of some kind at least. Before Castor knew it the other students had already vanished from his sight, seemingly terrified by the huntsman in question. Of course, Castor wasn't intimidated by the new person's act. He could tell when someone was messing with him, answering the man's question he couldn't help but smirk. " why wouldn't I want to go where all the fun is?" Castor would continue "a place to kick ass and take names, it's like I never left home." Trying to figure out what this person wanted Castor asked flatly "Don't suppose you know where this home away from home is?"

Castor half expected to be ignored or flat out told not to go there...what he wasn't expecting was another person butting in. She was a lot more colorful than either of them...and louder. Castor decides it best to keep an eye on her for now, but he would focus most of his attention on what he thought was his best chance of getting to this mysterious fight club. "so what do you say to lead a fellow huntsman to where all the fun is?" of course Castor "forgot" to mention that he was technically still a student...in fact, he hadn't even done a day of class at this point. He was too busy or lazy if you prefer to finish the needed paperwork.

Shaking his head and laughing lightly as the other students sped off. It hadn't been his intent, but he couldn't help but to laugh about it. Though as one remained, he'd quickly interject. "...and then there was one." After that Jim would listen to the boy and find himself laughing even more as he was certain this would have been him a few years ago. "Yes, indeed. Though you do have to be a little careful..." His words would be cut off by the approach of another. A colorful girl with girl with rather strange footwear that confused him as to how they worked. ‘Hope she’s not planning on fighting in those.’ He thought with a little chuckle.

"I guess there are two again now..." He'd then add before looking back to the. Giving him the time to get an answer to his question Jim would then circle back after the fact. "I suppose I could point you in the right direction, but if you'll allow me a word of advice. Pretend that you don't have an aura it makes for a much easier time. That and..." Another burst of laughter interrupted his statement. "...ahh, that and make sure you're good at it. Else you'll get called out by a wandering huntsman and you get your ass all the way kicked." Even too the worst social reader it would be obvious that he was speaking from experience.

"...but yeah." He'd start up again look between the two of them. "...why not I can lead the way. Though uhh... if you get caught by any of the administrators. I had nothing to do with it." Jim would grin after that. Though it was masking a semi-concern as there were only a couple things that scared him. One of which being is sister that several employees at Beacon had a direct line too. The mental image of him scolding then kicking his ass was already enough. Though it was debatable on which of the two was worse.

It was a short-lived performance while it lasted, but hey, give the stealth role to someone who didn't have as much to offer as Showa did. Red, white, and black like she wore it popped, and not showing off a little even going incognito was wasting a shopping trip. Big white hoodie, red hot running pants, and matching ruby sneakers didn't exactly spell covert. That was what the black medical mask was for though. Doubled as a fashion accessory and functional identity protection. That's the kind of thinking of a future Huntress baby! "Subtle" was for her brush on canvas whereas anything in her closet was anything but. At least the attention she was getting meant her outfit was up to standard despite being more low key than what she usually went with. Certainly drew in those boys' attention. Maybe the ports weren't so bad. Bonus to a depressing backdrop like this totally made her the focal point of the composition. Almost made her not want to spray up the place, but not really~. Place already looked more caked up than a runway model and clashing styles really brought down what this pretty gal had to offer. Nobody cared if some random Jane defaced a wall, but Nishiki Showa was no hooligan in it for cheap thrills. An artist had entered the level and she'd put it on her honor as a creative if she walked away from this disaster without improving the completely void atmosphere. Wouldn't be a hard benchmark to pass when she hopped puddles that were more of a challenge to overcome than this mess. This was just sad. Poor thing. Showa would give it the facelift it needed! Every gal needed a confidence boost every now and then, and this client just so happened to get a master of her craft. Hoped it didn't mind an audience like she did because Showa wasn't stopping even if the Huntsman came over. If he came swinging, she'd keep spraying! Try her, he won't!

Mentioning a fight club though... Might be a good idea to keep playing the innocent act. Last thing this night needed to complete the dumpy and crummy experience was getting held up by the violent sort of Huntsman and some goon. Tall guy had something going on for him, but Showa wasn't in the mood to get a close-up of the rags he wore. Literally, for the other one's case. Almost made her gag at the sight of his... blegh. He was probably the worst offender of the dark color scheme plaguing the scenery. Was that black jacket of his naturally that color, or did he drag it through the bins and never wash-NOOOOOOOOOO!

Red. Red was such a better color. Yep. Red red red. Just a biiiig patch of red! Reeeeeeeed-ok, maybe a little too much red... gotta ease up on the spread or else she'd just be giving the wall a paint job instead of a mural. It did help distract from... You know what, maybe it could use a little more red here.

Losing herself in graffiti became a much more preferable activity than to keep people watching with that thing out in the open. The click of a lighter got lost in the sound of gas propelled acryllic, and only some snippets of conversation were heard over the din. The heck was a Huntsman doing bringing a kid to an underground fight club? The little voice in the back of her head nudged her to keep an eye on the two, if just for peace of mind on the boy in rags. He might have been an affront to her aesthetic sensibilities, but it didn't mean she could turn away from someone in possible danger. Grandpa Nishiki'd roll in his grave.

With no shortness of interest, Fuchsia observed the small gaggle of people loosely arranged near one another down the street. It looked like the boys were bouncin', she supposed it was on account of the big buff Huntsman and his massive sword. Her ears twitched and strained to hear what was being said, and given the fact they were two giant radar-dishes on her head, it wasn't too hard once she focused them forward and did her best to filter out the other noises around here. They were talking about fighting...

No, wait.

They were talking about an underground fighting arena, a fight club. Well now... Wasn't that interesting? One thing was for sure, she thought as she burned half her cigarette in a thick inhalation of smoke, if she was going to hang around here any longer, something criminal was about to happen. Illegal fighting rings were just as familiar to her as the rugged streets of the Port... She'd conned several dozen people out of cash in them back home in Mantle, too. It was so easy to play innocent, make them think you're a fragile girl and then drop the big boys faster than they could even flinch. Fuchsia hadn't passed the Beacon entrance exam on wits alone. She knew how to fight because she'd done it to survive. So the thought of such a club, here in Vale... It was raising her curiosity. Damn it, and she'd told her therapist she wasn't intent on breaking any laws here in the big city.

She evidently wasn't the only one with a naughty streak. The Faunus who reminded her of a comic book being chewed up and spit out in the form of clothing and a girl seemed to be up to something... She was tagging, it was easy enough to figure that out as she started to walk closer to the three.

Fuchsia smirked as she walked behind Jim, along the sidewalk, casting a sidelong glance toward Castor, her tail swaying behind her, following like a tag-along child.

"Careful, kids," she said to Castor and Jim as she walked passed, "Never know what kind of shady individuals might overhear you." Her ears wiggled as she said this, and she flowed past, tail and all, approaching Showa now while she finished off her cigarette with a clean drag and flicked it aside, jamming her hands in her pockets.

"Nice work," she purred to Showa, "Two-hundred Lien fine and three days jail time. At least back in Mantle. Hope you're up to it if the Man shows up." She was smirking, and in the afternoon light the large spikes attached to the collar around her neck glinted steel to anybody standing at the right angle whenever she moved.

"But hey, what's art without a little risk?" With her leather jacket's sleeves pushed up to her elbows as they were, it was evident that she had a bit of art of her own. A small flock of butterflies in black spread from the wrist of her right arm, fanning out toward her elbow. She tongued at the piercing in her lip, old habits died hard.

Castor couldn't help but laugh at this huntsman's expense, as they clearly spoke from experience. If this person is going to be leading the way, for the time being, Castor felt an introduction was needed. "might as well try to get along, the name is Castor Achromos." For a moment he glanced at the strange girl from earlier, who as far as he could tell seemed to be in her little world. "I don't suppose you're also interested in tagging along?" Before he got his answer however another person appeared cutting into their conversations. This new person who was a cat Faunus was much blunter...wasn't entirely sure who was weirder between her and the first one.

Castor would then turn to Jim "anything we should know before getting there?" as a glance through his scroll didn't reveal any info about their intended location as expected. Wherever it was, this fight club was most likely a local-only thing. Out of nowhere, his scroll went flying out of his hand with the device practically exploding into pieces as it made contact with the floor. A sharp noise would catch his attention, coming from...a rooster? around the corner of the alley was a rooster with black ruffled feathers started at all of them...with murderous intent.

At its feet lay several pebbles and with a quick flick, one such pebble bolted past them, crashing into a nearby trash bin. The trash bin in question was left with a noticeable hole from the impact. In most cases that would be impossible...unless someone had gone through the effort of unlocking the animal's aura. Castor was always told that such a thing was possible but this was the first time seeing such a thing in action, he couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation. The laughter was cut short when another pebble went flying dangerously close to his head. At this point, the group may have noticed a small necklace adorning its neck with a small reddish pendant with a stylized heart.

The rooster would then kick off the remaining rocks in quick succession. firing them at the group indiscriminately before going deeper within the alleyway, as if it was goading them to chase it?

Looking over at the strange girl that was currently practicing her drawing on the wall Jim contemplating messing with her. However, given his current conversation it would not have held much water. Either way she seemed pretty distracted so he'd just nod, smile, and turn his focus back to the boy. As the kid introduced himself Jim couldn't help but ponder for a moment that maybe he should actually be responsible and dissuade them from this action.

Just as he was about to open his mouth to respond another would show up. It would appear that they had ran the gamut on personalities present. The strange aloof artist, the confident girl, the eager kid, and then whatever the hell bucket Jim fell into these days. Of course, as Fuschia spoke he would just chuckle in response. "Suppose you're right. Evidently the seedy parts of the city are just a magnet for people tonight." With a bit of a sigh, he'd shake his head as she proceeded towards the artist.

Finally, returning to Castor, Jim would sigh and return the introduction. "Jim, nice to meet ya kid." As he said that the young huntsmen would do a double take on Fuschia he couldn't help but think she was familiar to him. Though with a shake of the head he'd come back to the guy. "As for what you need to know. I'm honestly not sure it's a good..." It would be at this point that the boy's scroll would go flying out his hands. Cutting of his sentence Jim would turn look at it.

What happened next confused the absolute hell out of him for a moment. However, after four years of Beacon he'd simply just sigh. As a few of those pebbled went flying towards them he'd stare at the kid. "Come on man, if you're gonna summon things you have to learn how to control them." After being on the fence about if he should help Castor find this place. This little circumstance had him firmly thinking that this would be a poor choice. So, with a quick tilt of his head he'd say. "So, are you going to take care of that, or do you need me too before one of those rocks actually hurts someone or break something." He didn't mind giving the boy a chance to clean up his own mess. That said as Jim grasped for the hilt of his sword and gave a nod in the creature’s direction. Castor would know that it would be best to do it quickly.

Mmm~ There were few things in this life that could compare to the visceral concoction Showa was doling out at the end of a spray can. Hot rod red violently cut a path through any semblance of the hum-drum sediment so strongly settled in a thick crust and sending that special tingle up her arm and a buzzing in her head. Easy girl, it’s only the first stroke. There wouldn’t be a trace of a bore once she got through dolling up this little slice of scenery~. Really, that alone was fulfillment enough, like mana for the soul. Less innocent, and more junk food for the soul, was than the feeling of contentment was the touch of danger following each flourish. Showa had some strange interests, not least of which was testing the limits of her freedom. A little harmless vandalism skirted the edge of that border nicely. And it wasn’t like what she did was permanent anyway. Unless being dazzled counted!

A completely unnecessary twirl in her step boldly accented by a thick red mist billowing in her wake invited the audience in Showa’s mind and the meager one that had her in visible range to gawk. Blushing clouds were just as dramatic a change as the one Showa underwent in the eye of the chromatic storm. Cloaked in a crimson dusting turned the white hoodie into a vibrant gradient of red on her shoulders to a blanching pink near her midsection. The wonders of waterproof clothing and flair for the theatrics. A few extra hours washing the red glittering in her dark hair was worth it for the style points that stunt netted. There was no compromise when it came to looking good! Look, alley cat had the right idea!

Wait, was that derogatory? The ears looked feline to Showa, and they were in an alley way… She looked good is what Showa was getting at! Knew how to accessorize too if the spiked collar and leather jacket (respect for to this gal who could pull off that icon item) was anything to go by. And she had compliments too!

“You know it!” Throwing a wink was the least she could offer when her smile was hidden beneath the face mask. Someone got the vibe! Wet paint was cleaved through at the tip of her manicured finger to shine like a laser pointer on her companion. “There isn’t too high a price to put on art! And if the PD want to sweat so much over it… they just need to wait for some rain. Water works just fine for clean-up~.” Water soluble medium. Great color clarity and easy wash.

Yet another spot of detail was added to the mural as Showa underscored the smooth patches with defining calligraphy. Finger paint made an acceptable substitute for brushes as Showa liked to vaunt. The last touch helping to reveal the pair as minimalist koi fish. She thought the regular grime beneath really brought out how clean her handiwork was in comparison and made them stand out.

“Hmhm~. Nice, if I do say so myself, hehe. Want to give it a go? Plenty of room~.” The spray can was offered in one hand along with an easy smile as Showa reached into her pocket for her Scroll. This piece was just too good to not snap a pic of. Of course, that was the plan until a pebble went ballistic and made a hole in the metal canister. Everything after that went up in red once it started venting.

“Waugh!”

Fuchsia had been enjoying her little stroll-and-see, but she'd suddenly began to wonder if maybe she'd wandered into the wrong alleyway at the wrong time. Or was it the right alleyway at the wrong time... The wrong alleyway at the right time?

The girl with the spraypaint was really going to town on the wall, and she had to wonder what she was painting, but she looked about herself, aware and attentive to the fact that the authorities could be around at any moment. Her upbringing on the streets of Mantle said they were around every corner, constantly patrolling in patterns... And the first thing she saw was, nothing. She reminded herself of where she was... This was Vale, the Kingdom of freedom. Perhaps spraypainting was the least of their worries? A little tag art certainly served to beautiful the otherwise drab, grey concrete.

Showa seemed excited, she finished her little picture. Koi fish? Fitting colors, same as this girl's weird outfit. She actually chuckled while watching her, her energy was kind of infectious and it was making her excited. By the time the girl offered her the paint can, she had actually thought sure, why not? She reached out for it.

"Heh, you sure knows how to have a good time, hm?" she asked to Showa, and her fingers just barely brushed the can when...

The second thing she noticed was a curious animal... A chicken? ...But it seemed to be angry, hostile. Then suddenly, it began launching pebbles at them! One of them went straight through the paint can in between the two Faunus girls and suddenly the paint began to spray everywhere! She stepped back and away, coughing and waving an arm through the air, the red mist clinging to the sleeve of her jacket while she shielded her mouth and nose with the other one. She growled, angry.

"Grrr... That overgrown pigeon is DEAD!" she shouted, trying to clear the air around herself before she opened her eyes, just in case the mist was still there to sting her.

Looking at the destroyed remains of his scroll Castor quickly shot back at Jim "yeah because summoning uncooked chicken is my semblance." Before he could return the favor the overgrown fowl was making its escape, Castor made a quick scan before noticing the spacing between the buildings was surprisingly narrow. Jumping the gaps between the rooftops shouldn't be easy.

"The alley cat and I can follow from above while you two go after the dam thing from the ground." Castor quickly focused the aura at his feet, that bastard bird already had a head start after all, in an instant, he kicked off the ground with great force sending him flying towards a nearby wall. Before his face could be turned into mush from the impact, Castor would repeat his trick a second time kicking off the wall before grabbing onto the edge of one of the warehouse rooftops. For a moment he looked like a monkey with his craze "acrobatics".

Peeking over the roof over the rest of the group, Castor smirked,
"if it's too much for you to handle alley cat, you can always use the ladder over there." Before heading off in the direction the bird was headed towards. Castor didn't have much trouble figuring out where that foul...fowl had been since it more or less left a path of destruction in its wake. From broken windows, trash cans, and oddly enough a stolen sandwich it was obvious that the bird wasn't even trying to hide its trail.

Almost as if it wanted to be followed...

To add more to the situation Castor couldn't help but there was something familiar about the heart symbol around the bird's neck. His train of thought was interrupted when he heard a gunshot off in the distance. Assuming they all heard the noise Castor rushed off to find the source of it, half expecting a scene with a dead bird. The scene he arrived to puzzled him, to say the least, down in some dark dirty was a fight between some deadbeat thug and...the chicken. At first, Castor thought the man who was dressed in some kind of weird suit had pulled a gun on the bird.

Kind of crazy but given the fact the bird in question could use aura, Castor wasn't surprised. After a moment when the man dropped his gun and make a run for it did Castor realize that half of it was missing, with a quick crunching noise coming from the bird was ate the gun piece by piece like it was some kind of meal....before looking up at Castor and dropping it strange necklace onto the floor and started to walk away.
