When the school was over for the day students ususally spent their time doing whatever they wanted. Whether they spent time in Vale or with friends, binged their new favorite series, locked themselves in their rooms to study or went to the localized gym rooms to train was completly up to them. For the tigress it was the latter on this afternoon as she occupied a training room for herself this day. Not many students were around today, perfect to really let yourself go and work up a real sweat in the gym.

For this training session Vlithra wore a black sports bra with a neon green bolt of lightning going over her chest and black sports leggings that feature a similar design as her usual suit pants. Her tattoo was partialy visible on her back, the creatures wings, claws and head popping up form behind her sports bra. Vlithras wild hair was bound to a ponytail and her hands and feet were wrapped in white tape that boxers are usually seen using. She brought a sports bag with towels and plenty of water bottles to cool off when needed.

The tigress was already sweating a bit from her post warm-up workout. On the matts she had performed plenty of push-ups and sit-ups already and was now ready to get more hands on with equipment. And what better way to get those muscles to ache than going at a punching bag. Moving the frame the heavy sack was hanging from near the matts and pressing a button locked the metal frame in place with gravity dust. The frame won‘t move an inch no matter how hard she‘d hit it. It even had a safety feature should anyone ever exert too much force for the chain to handle, because of course there are going to be people like that.

Vlithra set a timer up on her scroll up, cracked her knuckles and took her stance. It didn‘t take long for the thumping sound of someone punching a bag a bit too hard echoed through the halls outside the gym room. The tigress tactically struck the bag, dodging and weaving as if to dodge attacks coming her way and throwing in the occasional kick. She kept a constant rythm doing this for a while and eventually this devolved into simple consecutive punches to the target. She‘d land punch after punch on her figurative opponent, the next one faster and harder than the one before, accelerating until it became an unforgiving barrage with a constant rythm accompanied by strained grunts.

It wouldn‘t be long though until fatigue started accumulating and the tigresses punches lost their frequency, each hit now becoming slower instead retaining their power. Vlithras will to fight through the exhaustion until the timer was over had her keep going, groaning and teeth gritting in frustration.

Another day, another daydream.

Fuchsia hadn't really had a goal today. She'd gotten out of bed, attended her classes, and afterward she'd decided to go for a walk to clear her head. The last few weeks had been more of the same; she'd finally fell into the rhythm of student life like the beating of a heart, a constant daily pulse that consumed her days seemingly without end. Wake up, do a bunch of stuff, then go back to sleep. It'd become a routine, and she'd found that just having a routine had done a lot of her psychology. Before, her life had been so chaotic, she'd come to realize, constantly shifting, no rhythm, waking up at odd hours of the day, staying awake far too long.

But now, her head was clear, and as she walked along the various corridors, through the gardens, and toward the training rooms, her mind began to wander. She thought about the various people she'd met here, and in turn, wondered what each of them was doing with themselves lately. Maybe she'd call Nym and see if she wanted to get something to eat? Or maybe Ax would text her tonight and she could complain about homework some more?

Along this line of random thought, her brain remembered an encounter she'd had not too terribly long ago with a certain tigress. When it jumped into her mind, her immediate reaction was a sting of regret. She'd said too much, hadn't she? Vlithra... She hoped the girl was okay, it seemed like she'd probably pissed her off. And, given she hadn't heard from her since, it must've been...

By now she was walking through the combat hall, when through one of the doors came the sounds of someone beating the actual shit out of a punching bag. Naturally, her eyes drifted toward the person when she walked past the door, but in the doorway, her golden eyes lingered in place while the rest of her body continued forward. Her back arched backward, as if her feet intended to keep going on without her head, until her body finally snapped back into place around the corner.

The person who'd caught her eye was, of course, a sweaty girl with a tattoo. How could it not? Her exotic eyes peeked from around the door frame, her ears tilted into a right angle by gravity above her head. Who was this hot, glistening piece of...

Wait... Vlithra?!

What a coincidence, Fu thought, that the exact person her mind had wandered to was literally... right here. She watched as the tigress pounded the hell out of her punching bag, her eyes wide, mesmerized. Wow. She really was strong. The cat could remember the number she'd done to the roof that day. She remembered her earlier decision to never get on Vlithra's bad side and decided the same thing once more.

"Damn, girl!" she suddenly called out when Vlithra's punches became more and more fatigued, and just as she said this, a timer went off inside the room, signaling the end to the workout.

"Plannin' on destroyin' the equipment?" Fu asked, and stepped forward to lean on the door frame, her long, black tail dancing about behind her excitedly. Well now, this had certainly changed her plans. What were the odds?

“Damn, girl!“ was the only thing Vlithra heard before the timer on her scroll went off which marked the end of this little exercise of hers. The rather admiring comment gave her one last bit of strength to throw one last punch at the punching bag, her target bending away from the impact one last time before it was left swinging back in forth in beat of the alarm tone of her scroll. The tigress was breathing fast, obviously winded by the exercise, and remained still for a moment or two. Enough for the timer to stop beeping and for whoever had interupted to utter a few more words at her. Seemingly giving the person no attention at first Vlithra once more took a stance.

“If I can‘t, then that means I‘m not strong enough!“ Vlithra murmured to herself still a bit winded. And that seemed to give her a second wind as she regained some strength and wound up for another punch with her right. Her semblance activated, green lightning crackling around her and her hair lightly levitating in response. “RHAAAA!“ She roared out as her left leg stomped forward and her right fist boltet towards her target, around the height where the face of a person would be. Her shoulder was pressing forward and her hip turned to give this hit even more strength. And what a killer swing it was… Her fist, undeterred by the mass of the punching bag, bent its target into a sideways U as the semblance generated energy enveloped Vlithras fist and shot into her target. It was such a powerful strike the failsafe of the equipment immediately kicked in. This caused the chain to go slack and allowed the punching bag to fly to the side. However due to the force the chain still reached its definitive limit in terms of length and was strained from the impact sending the bag flying. As the punching back tumbled to the gorund and the chain went slack again it was reeled in by the macihne shortly after. Vlithra was quite dissapointed that it wasn‘t quite enough to break it. But to be fair, she was a bit exhausted.

“Too bad these things have that failsafe to keep them from breaking.“ Vlithra retorted on her own comment and deeply exhaled out of her nose. Maybe it was for the better. In the end Vlithra wouldn't want to get into trouble for breaking Beacon property. Only now would Vlithra fully aknowledge the existence of the feminine voice that had chimed in just now. She relaxed her body, exiting her fighting stance, and turned to face the door.

It was Fuchsia... The tigress didn't quite expect this feline to be in the doorway. She was the one that had shown her that amazing spot on the roof. Ironicly that conversation they had on that same roof had lead to Vlithra leaving for this exact training room for some stress relief and to clear her thoughts. That first encounter ended on a rather tense note making this a bit weirder for Vlithra than it should have been. Despite that however the tigress saw herself in a more positive relationship with Fu than such an incident would let on.

“Fu...“ Vlithra exhaled once more making her way over to her sportsbag to take a water bottle out, opening it while she continued. “How have you been doing these past few days?“ A slight smirk formed on her face as the tigress than took a quick chug out of her bottle.

The cat's golden eyes flicked to the side when Vlithra's fist flew into and through the bag, and her head turned to follow it as it flew past the bars and slumped to the floor with a thud. Fu blinked, watching as the machine recalled its charge and the thing snapped back into place. Wow, so her assumption that Beacon's equipment was fit for the job had been correct. Still... color her impressed. She doubted her own ability to do trigger that very failsafe. Her Semblance was more... subtle than Vlithra's. Seeing her ability for the second time, though, it piqued her curiosity enough that she filed the mental image away, planning to ask about it later.

Fuchsia stayed where she was momentarily, leaning against the doorframe, her hands in the pockets of her leather jacket. Her fingers played over the handle of her little knife, perhaps signaling to herself that she was feeling a little anxious about this. She wanted to apologize to V, she'd clearly touched a nerve, but... was this the right time? Was it appropriate? She guessed she'd see what the tigress said first. Her eyes darted downward to her shoes for just a second before she looked back upward at the punchy woman, placing a smirk firmly on her lips, hiding her anxiety behind a coolheaded outer appearance, as was common for her.

As if by chance, she found that very same expression mirrored on Vlithra's face. Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea? A chance to clear the air, perhaps...

When Vlithra spoke her name, she gave a half-hearted two-fingered salute, though her hand found its way straight back into her pocket immediately afterward.

"Ahh, y'know... Stayin' outta trouble. How 'bout yerself?" she answered, returning the question. She put her thoughts about their previous encounter on hold. There was a new conversation to be had, now.

"If I didn' know any better I'd think someone pissed ya off with how yer beatin' on that there bag. But I'm startin' t'think that this's just what ya do fer fun." Hey, she could relate. Her version of blowing off steam was to slam a drum kit so hard it may as well be begging for mercy. Her gaze wandered back to the punching bag momentarily, before she pushed off the wall and took a few steps into the room, tail trailing behind her.

"Mind if I join ya?" she questioned, watching Vlithra with her exotic gaze, taking a moment to register the difference in appearance between this version of V and the previous one she'd seen. Girl knew how to dress, far as she could tell. Her style was unique, and she could appreciate that.

Vlithras semblance deactivated as soon as her display of strength had ended, leaving her right arm feeling cramped. Channeling the energy through her almost always took a bit of a toll. Seeing as she has been using this trick a multitude of times now it only ached a little bit.

The tigress didn‘t fail to notice Fuchsia seeming nervous at first. But that was a natural reaction to Vlithra. It wasn‘t an uncommon reaction to her, but the felines behaviour quickly changed to something more lighthearted as Vlithra had greeted her with that smirk.

“Eh, the usual. Lazing about when I‘m not busy with studies or… you know… shredding my body to pieces with training.“ she quickly answered with a shrug. That is how training worked after all. Breaking your body down for it to recover stronger than before.

“You got that right. It is hella fun just letting loose once in a while.“ Vlithra nodded at Fuchsia as she put away her bottle. “It‘s also good training and helps me calm down.“ Everybody had their ways to calm their souls. Both training and drinking tea were Vlithra‘s ways of doing so. Knowing that her body ached after training was proof enough that she was growing stronger. Vlithra now went to get a towel to wipe her sweat away before she would continue. She still had a bit of her workout left to do, so she went down onto the matts to perform a plank to give her arms at least a little bit of rest and work more on her core strength. It was then that Fu asked if she could join which prompted the tigress to look up from her exercise instead of staring down at the ground as she usually did when performing this part of her workout.

“Sure. Go right ahead, I don‘t mind.“ she welcomed Fuchsia with a warm smile as the tigress rested her bodyweight on her lower arms while holding her body straight, like… well… a plank. Planks were simple in execution, as in anyone could do them. Even Fu could easily do them, only thing was that it gets more difficult over time really and focused more on the stomach area rather than anything else.

Fu's light smile stayed in place, even as her pierced eyebrow lifted when Vlithra got down on the floor. Still, an invitation was an invitation, and she was glad she now seemed to have some company for the foreseeable future. It beat wandering around without any sort of goal in mind.

"I c'n relate. Leave it to us cats to default t'nappin' when we's bored. Hah!" she joked, and walked closer, taking a seat on the nearby bench while she watched Vlithra assume a new position and continue her workout. She wasn't really familiar with what she was doing, but she figured it was some kind of stretch-and-burn sort of thing, given that she wasn't moving. Fu crossed her legs and leaned back, her hands resting to either side of her hips on the bench.

A thought flickered through her mind, and given the pulse of anxiety that still existed in her heart, she felt it had to be externalized. Fuck being nervous, she'd rather tackle her problems head on!

"Sooo, uh... About th' other day... I wan'ed to apologize to ya, you know... I didn't mean ta piss you off," she bumbled, her brow knitting, expressive eyes flashing a sign of worry.

"I don't always, ah... Filter myself super good, and, well, I was just tryin' to help is all..." One of her hands came up to rub at the back of her ears, feeling a little ashamed about it. One of the first people she'd met at Beacon and she'd upset the girl enough to bust up the roof. She hoped none of the Professors had found out who'd done it, then Fu would feel really guilty.

Fu‘s little play on cats napping when they are bored earned her a slight giggle from Vlithra and her almost loosing the tension in her muscles. However she was able to keep herself steady. While the feline was making herself comfortable on a bench nearby the tigress had to remain focused on her exercise. Around the 15 seconds mark was the point where it started to get tough to remain in the position she was in. Now she had to focus a bit more her head lowering again and body tensing up to keep herself straight as a plank.

After a short moment though Fuchsia decided to speak up again. She was… apologizing? About their last encounter no less. What a way to remind the tigress. This training room was the one she went to after her little temper tantrum at the rooftop even, mainly to forget about what happened and to cool off. No reason to get angry though, Fuchsia was meaning well after all.

Once Fu was done talking Vlithra had gotten to a point where it was actually difficult to keep her body straight. She could feel her body starting to tremble. Fu might mistake it for her being angry to the point that she was shaking, but Vlithra had to persevere to get at least to the 45 seconds mark. Many moments would pass as Vlithra tried her hardest to not let her body go slack, but once that imaginary clock in her head hit 45 her body went slack and relaxed again. The tigress could breathe a deep sigh of relief without the strain on her stomach. She then used the moment to move her body back to sit on her knees and look straight at Fu.

“I was indeed pissed that day.“ She made clear with a stern look on her face. Quite a blunt way to put it. “I mean… if it hadn‘t been for you that day… I would‘ve probably punched those jocks black ‘n blue.“ She explained, wrapped arms resting on her own thighs like she was a disciple that had screwed something up. Then again hadn't it been for Fu her nap wouldn't have been interrupted to begin with. No need to rub salt into a guilt ridden wound though.

“If anything it was kinda my fault that the topic was brought up anyway.“ She continued as she positioned herself for another plank. “I have chosen poor words... words that shouldn‘t even be uttered here at Beacon. And my little semblance stunt up there wasn't a good thing either. Sure the staff has still no clue who did, but still... that one's on me." She was stern and regretful as she said this. "So, anyway… apology accepted.“ She finished with a warmhearted smile directed at Fuchsia as she then started a sideways plank, this time aiming for 30 seconds.

Fuchsia had to wonder if it was a good idea to bring this up right now, given her focus on her workout regimen, but she knew it would be best to not let it fester, or go unsaid. But soon, Vlithra didn't answer right away, and the silence crept in for a few long seconds. Her brow knitted further, her worry seeping in that maybe she'd done something wrong, though by now Vlithra was quivering like a bird on a wire and she had to wonder if it was her emotions or just her weird core-building position that was doing it.

The alleycat bit her lip, worrying at it for a few seconds until finally Vlithra stopped, collapsed, and breathed a sigh. She found herself exhaling also, as if the tension the tigress was experiencing had somehow filtered its way down into her own system. At least now she was pretty certain it was just the workout and not some kind of silent treatment. Her face visibly loosened up when V turned to look at her, and the curious quirk of her brow returned.

Fu listened politely, considering her words for a moment or two before answering. Actually, now that it was in the open and the elephant was out of the room, she did feel better, especially since this girl owned up to her mistakes on her own and offered an explanation that she could agree with. Fu smirked again at the mention of the 'semblance stunt', one pointed canine poking into her lip.

"Pfthaha, yeah... I bet Monarch saw that n' shit 'erself with rage. But hey, since we's already keepin' secrets for each other, what's one more between friends, right? If they can't figure it out, let 'em hunt for answers. Personally, I think it's hilarrrious," she said, with a bit of a purr on the last word, a humorous sort of sound that matched her smile in a feline way.

"But ah... Thanks. I jus' thought I needed t'get it out in th' open, don' wanna sit on it longer'n I have ta. Not really my way, ya dig?" With this she flipped her hair over her shoulder and tilted her head to the side, matching the direction that Vlithra's face tilted when she got in position for another plank on her side.

"Yer Semblance is pretty damn sweet, though, what I wouldn' give t'punch holes in shit for the hell of it. Vandalism's fun and all but nobody c'n trace it back to ya if you obliterate whatever ya punch. Heheh..." Fu flicked her tongue against the ring in her lower lip, spinning it in its socket out of habit.

"So what're ya doin' there? Buildin' up muscle or just stretchin'? Can't say I ever seen anyone doin' that before."

Keeping herself steady the tigress listened as her feline companion reacted to Vlithra‘s own apology. It was nice to know that Fu was taking her tantrum with a laugh rather then anything else. Vlithra could return only a smile for now as she had to keep her stomach tense to keep her posture. In the meantime Fuchsia had uttered her interest in Vlithra‘s semblance and questioned her exercise. Once she reached the 30 seconds mark she relaxed again, resting a short bit ang giving her time to answer some of Fuchsia‘s question.

“It doesn‘t just punch holes into things. I could give a more throughout demonstration in a bit, if you really want.“ Relief could be heard in her voice as Vlithra then switched her position to do the side plank with her other side while still being able look at Fuchsia. She started almost immediately.

“As for this… this is called a Plank. A core strength exercise for buildin‘ muscle...“ She explained fatigue already starting to kick in, making talking a bit more difficult and strainous. She then pointed at her stomach with her free arm and grinned at the feline. “...right here. Pretty great if you want to get some abs going.“ Vlithra added shortly before she reached her breaking point for talking during the exercise. She raised her finger as if to say to wait for a moment. When that imaginary clock finally hit 30 seconds Vlithras hip collapsed to the ground and she took deep breaths. Her stomach now ached… so mission accomplished.

“As much as causing collateral with my semblance is... well fun... but yours is pretty great in itsself you know. I can only imagine what ‘Bad Luck on Demand‘ must be like. You could screw over so many people with it.“ The tigress commented as she sat down in a cross legged position to rest a bit.

Fuchsia nodded at the offer. A Semblance demonstration for something that destructive? That sounded pretty bad ass. She tapped her chin as she thought about what it might be capable of outside of punching things. Fu realized she didn't even really know what Vlithra's Semblance did, exactly, whether it was some kind of strength-boosting Semblance or something entirely different.

Her eyes however drifted downward again when V pointed at her abs, and for a moment Fu stared - how could she not? - at the woman's core muscles. Well, it seemed to be paying off... She hid her smirk behind a hand, but nodded again, trying her best to be an active listener free of distraction.

"Hm, I mean fer exercise, I normally jus' run a lot, jump over shit, maybe do some pushups here or there," she listed, counting off her fingers while her tail flicked back and forth with each thing she listed.

"Sit ups, pull ups, anythin' with an 'up' in it really... Squats. Squat thrusts. Lunges. You know, the basic borin' shit. I honestly never would'a thought that you could build yer core muscles jus' by stretchin' in a funny way on the ground." The alleycat shrugged, but flashed Vlithra a smile, going back into listening mode for a moment when she talked about her Semblance some more.

"Believe me... 'Bad Luck on Demand' ain't as cool as it sounds... 'Specially when you use it on accident. Can't tell ya how many times I accidentally slammed my fingers in a door. Or my tail. Once, I even got my ear caught on a branch 'cuz I hit a tree when I was mad. Almos' took a piece outta it. Still, I guess most'a that stuff was happenin' when I was younger, I guess since then I've learned t'not do it on accident so much. Still, every now'n then..." She trailed off, then shrugged, placing her hands back beside her hips on the bench, then leaning forward.

"But hey, since we're at it... Maybe I coul' show ya a little myself?"

Listening to Fu count out her own training exercises, Vlithra nodded along uttering an understanding “hm, hm“. Compared to the more specific workouts the tigress was used to, Fu‘s stuff was really more basic than she would have thought. It was probably the missing knowledge the feline had about exercises in general.

“I can only imagine what that feels like. Getting your tail slammed in a door…“ Vlithra shudders just at the thought as Fu was done explaining the problems her semblance had caused when she was more inexperienced. The resulting scream must have been heard towns away. And getting the ear pierced by a branch didn‘t sound any less gruesome. But hey, here at Beacon she would sure be able to fully surpress that effect at some point… probably. Vlithra shouldn‘t mention it that her own semblance still causes her one hell of a backlash at her aura... and her body as a matter of fact. That doesn‘t stop her from using it time and time again. Who knows, maybe her body would eventually get accostumed to it.

“Sure, why not? I actually have a bit of an idea… but first… throw me my water bottle will you?“ Vlithra exclaimed as she stood up and cracked her knuckles with a wicked grin, causing a few sparks of green ligthning around her hands. She was definetly looking forward to show off as she pointed at the bottle that was sitting next to Fu on the bench.

“Let me show you what exactly happened up at the rooftops. But fair warning… you might wanna take a bit of distance.“ With that Vlithra channeled her aura to activate her semblance. Tension drastically built up in the air as Vlithra clenched her fists and tensed her body again. Viridian green sparks shot around the tigress as her ponytail slowly started waving along the air that was being pushed away from her. Stripes, hair tips and eyes glowed in neon green... she almost looked like a protagonist from an action show powering up.

“My semblance uses my Aura to create this energy.“ She exclaimed with a proud grin plastered on her face. She walked near the punching bag again and when she reached it she held the bottle on her flat hand, the beverage shaking, almost threatening to fall off the surface of her hand. “This stuff has the peculiar ability to push anything away from me. I can contain it in my body like this, but...“ She then held her hand with the bottle outwards to the side across the punching bag.

“...when I let it loose...“ It‘s the only warning Fu was going to get. The energy erupted from Vlithras body in an explosion of green electricity. Sounding like thunder having found its target, the energy exploded outward away from the tigress as it was expelled from her body into all directions. The bottle was easily swept out of her hands and hit the wall on the other side of the room. The punching bag however, despite being as heavy as it was, was also affected. Swinging away from Vlithra with the chain rattling as it pulled at the metal with its weight.

“Be it an object, a projectile or another person… once you are hit with the energy, you are launched away… and it usually doesn‘t end well. I still have issues restraining its power in all honesty. Which is why sometimes I feel like…“ The last part was accompanied by a roll of her eyes. By now Vlithras body had calmed down. The punching bag next to her was still swinging from the impact.

“…I‘m tearing apart my body.“ Her sentence finished with a deep sigh.

Slamming anything in a door wasn't pleasant. But as any cat knew, their tails were a sensitive item in particular, and it had to be some of the worst sharp pain she could think of off the top of her head, short of having one's nail torn clean off their finger. The hair at the end of Fu's tail started to bush up a little just thinking about it. She lifted the fluffy thing into her lap and ran her hand over it to flatten the fur again. She nodded in response to Vlithra's statement. Just imagining it was bad enough.

When the tigress asked her for the bottle, though, she tilted her head in curiosity, but nodded again, then picked it up and held it out for Vlithra to take. When she cautioned the alleycat, Fu swung her legs up and over the bench, then stood up and took a couple steps back to lean on the wall again with her hands in her pockets.

Almost immediately, the electric feeling in the air seemed to pool up more and more, and once again the green sparks danced about the tigress as she summoned her Aura. Fu could only watch as it began to generate a sort of draft in the room, the locks of her black bangs blowing gently into her face. She brushed them aside with a hand, her eyes widening as she watched.

By the time Vlithra's power had increased enough for the demonstration, the green glow was reflecting from her golden eyes, and she couldn't help but be a little amazed by this. It was really the first time she'd ever seen someone else's Semblance up close like this, with a front row seat and a good view. Watching it was awe-inspiring, to be sure, and though the sight was rather distracting, her big ears caught every word that Vlithra said over the noise of rushing air and small bursts of electricity-like Aura.

"Woah," the cat managed to mutter to herself as she watched, beholding the display of raw power unlike any she'd ever really seen before. And then, with a crack like thunder, the bottle in Vlithra's hands shot straight toward the wall with surprising force, without her even having to throw it. A force like a shockwave rushed into Fuchsia's body, and she held up her hand to keep her hair from getting in her eyes, and to shield herself from the flash of light that came with it. Wincing, only when the feeling seemed to fall away did she slowly peek out from behind her hand, her tail shaking itself off as it resumed its position floating next to her instead of hiding away from the display.

Then, the tigress seemed to lose all her energy, and Fu watched as her shoulders seemed to sag and her eyes fell away. Fu pushed off of the wall and took a few steps back to sit down again on the bench, sliding into place like a snake into grass.

"Damn, V, that's... Tha's really somethin'... Hey, you okay?" she asked, leaning forward to position herself someplace where she could meet Vlithra's eyes.

"Well... I can't say I know what it's like to have somethin' like that inside of me... But for what it's worth, it seems to me that if anyone could handle somethin' like that, it'd be you." Her eyes and her lips both assumed a smile, but her gaze flicked to the floor a moment later, and she held up one of her hands, examining it there after while her smile faded slowly away.

"And... As far as that goes... I c'n guess what ya mean. Havin' a power you're not sure you can contain... Afraid it might do somethin', hurt someone you didn't mean it to... Even if that someone's you." For a moment, a deep velvet purple drifted through her fingers like smoke, rising a couple inches from her hand until it disappeared into the air.

"But hey," she added after a couple seconds of silence, this time her voice a bit less somber, a bit more friendly, "That's what practice is for, right?" Her grin was back, lopsided and a little pointy.

"Maybe you just need t' figure out yer limits?"

“I‘m fine. Just… a bit of an ache… nothin‘ more.“ Vlithra quickly muttered towards Fu as their eyes meet. She was trying to calm her worries without really specifying what kind of ache she was feeling. She did make it seem a lot like her head was spinning a bit. Intently listening for what Fu was saying Vlithra went to pick up the water bottle near the wall and began rolling her shoulders to try and relax her muscles at least a little bit before moving back in place to continue her training.

Fu‘s little words of wisdom and possible compliment to the tigresses resilience weren‘t ignored. It was a little boost to the tigresses pride which she couldn‘t help but show with a grin plastered on her face as she prepared to continue her exercise. Next up on the plan was legs. Vlithra began by lifting her left leg so that her knee was a little higher than her hip and kept it there for… well… as long as she could. In the meantime she bent her right leg a bit, doing so gave her a bit more stability when doing balancing exercises. As she continued listening to Fu her gaze was almost scarily fixated on the feline, not because she said something offensive, but because having one place of focus for your eyes was another trick used to keep balance.

“Actually. Figuring out your limits is easy.“ Vlithra quickly commented after she took another swig from her bottle. She sounded pretty positive in contrary to what her gaze would have conveyed moments ago. “What‘s difficult is breaking that limit if you want to improve. That‘s not so easy when you tear yourself or your surroundings to shreds. Get what I‘m sayin'?“ She continued keeping perfectly still as she held her knee above her hip and kept her balance. She crossed her arms pondering everything else Fu had said.

“Containing it is a bit of an issue, I‘m sure you noticed by now.“ With closed eyes and crossed arms, still holding that bottle, she lowered her left leg to scratch at the calf of her right. She then switched her leg to do the same exercise with the other, barely changing her height as she does so. “I have been taught that anger… instead of letting it control you… should be temperedfocused… to form a blade that you simply have to point towards your goal.“ The tigress went on. Better not mention that lesson came straight from her mother. Vlithra wasn‘t really keen talking about her family here at Beacon, at least not at the moment.

“Sadly I‘m still lacking in that whole ‘tempering‘ part. My emotions get the better of me and when that happens my semblance acts out.“ The effects of course varied with how mad she was, but better not say that. Fu might get the idea that Vlithra was perticulary angry with Fu the other day.

With observant eyes like hers, it was hard to miss the smile that Vlithra had put on for a moment at the compliment. Well, good. Everyone deserved their uniqueness being validated. She was happy to oblige.

But soon enough, though, that characteristic intensity seemed to return, and the stare that Fu received made her think at first that she'd had something on her face, maybe. So she ran a paw over her cheek, but soon decided it was just something she seemed to be doing out of focus rather than noticing something.

Her opinion on exploring limits was interesting, though. Fu nodded along in agreement with what she was saying, until she started talking about anger. That's where her agreement ended.

"Eh, well, if we all took everythin' people tried t'teach us to heart, the world would be one crazy place. More'n it is already, I mean. Personally, I think anger's pretty useless. Then again, this is comin' from someone who's anger always comes with mistakes attached. Shit never helped me once. Whoever taught you that, well... soun's like they was angry a lot maybe. Or just opinionated. Eitha way... I know whatcha mean when it comes to Semblances actin' out. Usually it's when I'm bothered, not payin' attention, that mine slips outta me too, causes some... unfortunate events or somethin'. Hence slammin' my fingers in doors and the like." Most of the times that had happened were during the outbursts she used to have every so often in her youth. They were always irrational, though the anger wasn't, that had deep-seated lines that ran to her soul. She'd done some self-examination about why she'd been so angry, and had come to her own conclusions, but it was something she was actively working on in therapy, now-adays. Trying to control it, not so she could use it as a tool, but so it'd stop getting in her way.

"I think it's normal fer emotions to ovacome us. I mean, if ya think about it... Ain't that what makes us alive? DOin' stupid shit 'cuz yer mad, or upset, or whatever it might be... Kinda part of the whole experience, I guess. Personally, I think it's betta to feel it out than let it sit in ya until it slips out one way or another. Guess that's how ya might end up with a hole in the wall... Orrr a bent railin'," Fu said, her tone becoming teasing when she mentioned the other day. She was only kidding, really, but it was her habit to poke fun and tease people about little things like that.

"But don' worry, like I said, yer secret's safe with me. If they come askin', I'll tell 'em it was a huge flyin' Grimm what came outta nowhere and I had to stab it and then it turned inta black dust as they always do. Haha, that'll get 'em off yer trail."

It seemed like Fu couldn‘t quite agree with what Vlithra had said about anger. Another point where they disagreed however more due to their experiences realted to such an emotion. While Fu had made mistakes due to it, when Vlithra was angry it usually had a more positive outcome. And that might be fault to the nature of her previous life rather than her being able to control her emotion. It came very much in handy when she broke out and went into exile, giving her that little push to reach her goal.

Fu then commented on the person tha thad taught the tiress that. Always angry or opinionated. To be fair… she was kinda right in her assumption. Vlithra‘s one armed crime lord of a mother had quite the emotional problem. Or… was it a problem? She had a rather wild and chaotic personality after all, it couldn‘t be healthy. She was so complicated of a person, not even Vlithra could get a proper read at her.

“Hrmpf. I guess you‘re right.“ Vlithra said in response to Fu‘s first bit and shook her head a bit irritated. She then lowered her right leg to continue on to the next exercise. She uncrossed her arms and started rythmically jumping in place to get her body back up to pace, all the while keeping her ears trained to what Fu was saying next. This next bit had more thruth to it and frankly it almost gave Vlithra a headache again. Noone is that perfect that they can stay cold like that all the time. The feline‘s little tease didn‘t set well with the tigress, to which she respnded with a single sigh as she stopped jumping in place.

“Pfahaha.“ Fuchsia‘s made up excuse for the bent rail got a wholehearted laugh out of the tigress at least. As if a Grimm would ever be stupid enough to go on Beacon grounds. She continued giggling a bit more. “Aight, appreciate the thought. I doubt they‘ll find out, but just in case… come up with somethin‘ better, will you? I somehow doubt they‘ll believe a Grimm could get that close to Beacon unnoticed.“ With a grin Vlithra positioned herself in a fighting stance in front of the punching bag again.

“I don‘t need you gettin‘ in trouble because of me. Get that?“ With those last words the tigress shot a wink towards Fu, then shifted her weight and delivered a powerful kick to the side of the punching bag. The chain rattled as the heavy target recovered from the heavy hit and swung like a pendulum back in forth as Vlithra lowered her leg again. This only for her to kick at it again after a brief pause. She then repeated the process.

Fuchsia rolled her shoulder in a shrug when Vlithra told her her excuse wasn't all that good. She grinned, though, watching the tigress while she got into position and started kicking the crap out of the punching bag again. Man, she had stamina. Fu probably would've tired out by now, but Vlithra just kept on going. Maybe if she kept at it herself, she'd get there some day.

"Oh don' worry, I c'n get myself inta plenty of trouble without ya. But hey, if ya wanna come along, we could go n' tell Miss Monarch 'bout it right now. Haha!" She was joking, of course.

"But I mean hey... We's at Beacon now. I doubt they'll ever get through a school year withou' somebody breakin' somethin'. It prob'ly happens all th' time around here, huh? I heard there's a maintenance lady what fixes all the damage caused by the students. Some Faunus lady with long ears. A real fix-it type, yeah? Well, at any rate, I already trashed one of the loading dock doors a few weeks back... And put a hole in the wall in my dorm. Sooooo... I guess they'll have their hands full already? Maybe I'll submit a maintenance request to distract 'em from the roof incident? Oughta keep 'em busy, least for a lil' while." Fu stretched her arms over her head, cracking her back lightly in the process, suddenly feeling a wave of sleepiness coming over her. How much had she slept last night? Not enough, apparently.

"How long you usually practice for, V? I was thinkin' I might hit up the cafeteria in like, an hour, get some cookies or somethin'. Yer welcome t'come with me if ya wanna," she offered, throwing her thumb over her shoulder, pointing at the door to the hallway.

"But if ya'd rather beat the snot out of that there bag, he might start beggin' fer mercy if yer not careful, hahaha!"

With how thinnly she had spaced little breaks in this workout routine of hers, fatigue would be accumulating quickly even if she tried her hardest to keep going. For that reason and that reason only her kicks against the bag were generously spaced, with a few seconds in between each of them. Fu‘s little joke was met with nothing more than a chuckle as Vlithra was fully focused on maintaining body form as she repeatedly kicked against her target. The feline went on about the maintenance lady and how she herself had already broken a few things.

“Oh. Am I not the only one with anger issues in this room?“ Vlithra teased with a rather sly smirk. She then switched up her footing to let her other leg in on the action. Her kicks came with winded breath and strained grunts as she continued laying one kick after the other into the bag. However when asked about how long the tigress usually trained, she paused for a moment to listen to Fu.

“Heh, he just might.“ She commented as she spun her body for a spin kick and hit the back with her heel, sending the bag rocketing from side to side again. The tigress moved to her sportbag and pulled another bottle of water out. “I usually go around 40 minutes of training in itsself, so it leaves me with 20 minutes to get myself clean and clothed.“

“I‘ll be done in around thirty to forty minutes, I guess. If you really don‘t want to stick around, I could meet you in the cafeteria. Just sayin‘.“ She shrugged pointing the lid of the bottle at Faunus, before quickly opening the bottle and taking a swig from it.

Fu wasn't expecting Vlithra to call her on it, but when she teased her about the anger problems, Fu crossed her arms and puffed out her cheeks, trying to keep from looking embarrassed. It didn't work.

"Maybe a lil'..." she said bashfully in response, "But my method of working through it ain't havin' to do with beatin' the tar out of a punchin' bag. I mean... I guess that helps if I'm mad at someone in particular, but... Eh, it's complicated. Anyhow, I'm down to wait. That's not long. 'Asides, you already've entertained me enough for my tastes. Just thought I'd suggest somethin' to do once you're done with your boyfriend over there." Her smirk came back in force. She was so witty, look at her! It was nice to have somebody to pick on, though. The last Faunus she'd tried that with didn't take too kindly to it at first, but hey... She hadn't been trying to ruin their little outing anyway.

"Mm... Maybe I'll show you my moves?" she tried, gauging interest. She probably lacked the flair of a power-packed Semblance punch, but she was pretty dexterous when she wanted to be. Her eyes briefly fell on the second water bottle that Vlithra was chugging... A reminder that she sucked at staying hydrated. She'd probably have to ask for some if she was going to break a sweat.

"I dunno, though... I don't usually show off my rockin' curves to innocent bystanders, and I'd have to lose my sweet-ass jacket..." She tugged on the leather, pinching it upward and letting it snap back into place. It did look great on her, after all.

Fu at least could both deal and take the punishment of being teased, as she was quick deal one back out for Vlithra which earned her a held back chuckle from the tigress, her breath steadily becoming calmer and controlled. She was thinking of reprobating the cat faunus for her sly remarks, but in the end figured she would find a different way of paying her back for it eventually.

As the tigress then took another bigger swig from her bottle, her feline friend suddenly made a rather intriguing offer. Have Fuchsia show off what she can do? Vlithra raised a brow, more in interest than surprise. It caused her to give her feline companion another look over. It was easy to tell that Fu was more about her speed rather than strength, putting her in contrast to the tigress who in contrast was more focused on the latter. Not too much, but enough to not be a straight up brute like Aster was, albeit she rivaled him to an extend. Maybe seeing the other end of the spectrum in action could give Vlithra more of an idea on how to deal with oponnents faster than her?
Well, she‘d have to convince the feline first who seemed somewhat reluctant to step up.

“Hey, go for it. No reason to hide them curves if you‘ve already seen mine. It‘s not like anyone else is watchin‘ us anyway.“ Vlithra shrugged, tossing the half-empty bottle aside and positioning herself back in the middle of the room, her breath back into a steady and focused rythm. She had gotten enough of a pause to continue.

“Besides, I‘m pretty sure we both ain‘t innocent.“ Vlithra exclaimed, that sly grin from before returning to her face as she stood there, a hand resting on her hip. “Hell I don‘t even have to be a bystander in this. If you like, I‘ll let you take a shot at me.“ Vlithra continued, presenting herself arms spread to the sides, almost in a taunting fashion, as she invited Fu to hit her.
