"W-what are you doing?" Auric feigned trembled as he back away slowly, his eyes widening in 'fear' as that once arrogant boy reduced himself to just a trembling boy.

*At first, Jack thought that his plan was working a bit too well. Then he remembered the trickery he's been submitted to, and raises his guard up again.*
"Oh, fuck it."
*It worked well enough before, so he tore some more chunks from the floor before rushing at Auric.*

Worth a shot.

Auric charges in with unexpected velocity, dodging any boulders Jack might have thrown. Auric makes a swift and skillful move to get closer to him. He blows Jack hard in the chest, knocking him back. Subsequently, he swiftly initiates Weave, resulting in the emergence of a sticky silk rope from his aura that advances towards Jack's chest, pulling him in the direction of Kwaku. He fires a cartridge of Dust bullets at Jack as he ragdolls to him, pointing Twin Fang Multi-Arms in his direction. He then turned his weapons into tonfas and beat the living daylights out of Jack by entangling him on the ground with Weave once more.

*Damn... Faster than he expected. He threw a punch as they ran towards each other, but Auric managed to dodge it and counterattack with a heavy blow to the chest.
Jack somewhat managed to protect himself from the rain of bullet with his arms, but there wasn't a whole lot he could do to defend himself while he was tied up. So he just endured until the thread disappeared. As Auric tried to hit him once again, Jack caught the blow, deflected it and then landed a swift strike his opponent's throat. Not too hard, he had no intention to kill, but still hard enough to block his breathing for a bit. Then, still holding onto the tonfa, he hit as hard as he could in the stomach, and Auric was lifted off the ground by the strength of the blow, leaving his right tonfa in the iron grip of the ginger boy. Jack followed in the air, landing a jumping punch that would've killed a medium-sized Beowulf.*
"Argh... Huff... Shit... You lucky I had to expend so much Aura to block your hits, otherwise I would've knocked you out clean."

Landing on the floor with a thud, the now disheveld Auric winced in pain as he weakly stands up, grabbing his throat in pain, his weapons on the ground. As he struggles to catch his breath, Auric's mind races, desperately trying to assess the situation.

At this point, better to leave this fight still having my pride and body intact than to get a concussion.


"I give…I give." He groaned between coughs and a hiccup, his aura shattered into dust.

*Jack rushed to his side, the stolen right tonfa still in his hand.*
"I'm sorry, are you..."
*He stopped and jumped back.*
"You're not trying to trick me again, are you ?"

"No tricks." Auric chuckled, slowing getting himself up despite all the pain. A cough escape his lips.

"Besides, even if I wanted to, you're just gonna end up beating me in my state."

"Alright, fair enough. Here."
*He offered his hand to help his (way too tall) underclassman get up.*
"Your stuff for my stuff ?"
*He proposed, giving back the tonfa he had snatched.*

"What stuf-OH! That."

Auric hands Jack back the dust crystals and the lighter.

"By the way, get a new lighter, this one's getting dull."

*Jack nodded as thanks, before answering.*
"No way ! That's my lighter. I'll fix it or whatever, but I won't replace it.
Well, aside from that, that was a good fight. You got some good basis, you know how to use your weapons and your Semblance... You'll make a great Hunter, I think. Tell me, did you learn anything while we fought ?"

"Always put out your 100% and be incredibly brutal in pursuing your goals and defeating your limitations. Remember that success often requires pushing beyond your comfort zone and embracing challenges head-on. Stay focused, stay determined, and never settle for anything less than what you truly deserve." Auric replied.

"Right?"

"I'll remember that" Auric replied, known damn well he's going to forget

"Anyways, Imma go check if they finally have the cheese fries, you coming?"

"Ok. Loser's paying."
*He answered with a smirk.*

"Fine.." Auric grumbled as he heads to the dining hall.
