The next round had started and with that Vlithra‘s next fight was close at hand. It was with calm confidence she strutted into the arena, her jacket swaying left and right behind her as she made her way to her position. It would be one castor Achromos, a simple minded fellow from what she heard with a penchant for a good brawl. Similar to Aster, but different in the sense that this time there was no grand plan that Vlithra needed to secure victory, most likely at least.
The only thing worrying her was the fact that she didn‘t get to see much of the guys capabilities in the previous round, as his opponent had “forfeited“ the match. There was definetly something going on beneath it all, to the former criminal it reeked beyond the deepest depths of hell, but wether he had a hand in that entire stunt was another quesiton entirely. What she did notice was that he certainly didn‘t have problems closing a gap if there ever was one.

But that shouldn‘t matter, after all up close is where Vlithra wants the guy to be after all, meaning she would have no troubles using her semblance to its full effectiveness. With her left arm lazily resting on the hilt of her blade and the other in her pocket, Vlithra waited for Castor to enter the ring giving one last cursory look into the crowd. She could feel animosity eminating like pool of seething magma radiating the heat into the arena. Either this guy wasn‘t much liked or there were some unhappy with the last round going the way it did. Regardless once her opponent entered, her gaze locked onto him, scanning him from top to bottom throughoughly.
He was a little smaller than she and if his physique and appearance was anything to go by the tigress would have just called him a ruffian. At the very least he has the right idea for style, that shoulder hung jacket and white shirt mirrored hers aside from looking absolutely tattered and frayed. A spark from her semblance shot across her vision as she locked eyes with him.

The new round of the tourney was finally getting underway, despite what common sense would dictate. Castor opted not to look into the previous fights that had been going on until then, his own match had…unfortunate accident. No one was harmed but thank the unwanted “help” from an associate of the first match of the tournament was stopped prematurely and Castor was gifted a win. Normally someone would be happy if they won without having to fight at all, not this student, however. Castor despised not getting a chance to properly fight someone. The last few weeks have been nothing but stress for him thanks to his “responsibilities” in and out of school grounds. Having a chance to let loose and show off would have been fun. Since his upcoming opponent shouldn’t know much about his abilities, he felt starting the fight in the same state of mind only made sense.

“Besides finding out the hard is so much more fun…” he said to himself as he finally made it the entrance of the would-be arena, his opponent was already there waiting for him…along with his “adoring fans”. Castor was used to the knife-like glares from the usuals, but their jeers and chanting was more heated than usual.

“Cheater! you cheated! you should be kicked out!” Among other things that were hurled at him, it seems to believe the whole fiasco with the first round was his fault. He didn’t entirely blame their reasoning but still Castor simply yawned at them as he continued towards the arena and his now waiting foe. She wore a jacket similar to his, save for the fact she can afford to take care of her clothes, where Castor’s looked like his was partially skewered by beowolves.

“Sorry to keep you waiting.” He said nonchalantly, not really caring how long she had been waiting, if anything if he knew how wild the crowd was going to be he would have waited until the last second. Hopefully though there won’t be a repeat of the first round, Castor already had a thorough “conversation” with his “associates” to ensure they minded their own business.

Of course…this came with caveat that he would have to do a special job for them after the tourney ended. But that was an issue for later, Castor right now would size up his opponent. By a glance Castor could already tell this fight would be interesting. His opponent had reached on size and reached advantage on him, him specifically though as Fidi would more than likely be her when it came to range with her dust breath. Castor wondered if he would be fast enough to blitz her. But quickly shocked that idea out of his head.

He wanted to enjoy himself for this upcoming fight, and what better way to do that than with a bet?

“Oi let’s make this more interesting?” he pulled out his pocket a small marble like object, his opponent might recognize it as a small bit of pure processed fire dust, the little ball in some places in remnant, itwas more valuable than a diamond of similar quality.

“Beat me and it’s your, if I win though…” Castor stopped himself waiting for his opponent to offer up something in the ante.

Both. The crowd both hated him and the result of his match. Wild accusations are flung around and they didn‘t seem to die down at first. In contrast to what the crowd might suggest, her opponent did apologize to make her wait. It was when he pulled out a little ball of pure fire dust that the guy became more interesting than his looks might let on, he was willing to make a bet to “spice things up a little“ as some others might say.

“So, you‘re a betting man?“ she pondered for but a moment. “Very well, if you win...“ she fumbled in her pocket to pull out a Lien card, holding it between her two fingers. “You‘ll get my remaining months worth of Lien. There isn‘t much left, but I'm sure it'll cover the cost of such a rare gem you have. It‘ll be enough for you to buy a proper jacket at the very least.“ The tigress smirked, restashing the money in her pocket. What she said was an understatement, the card she held could at the very least buy her an unrefined dust crystal that, once ground up properly, could last her the month.

With the bet declared, Vlithra readied herself. She pulls her short sword and got into her combat stance, with her other arm waiting to grab a dust cartridge to insert. Water should be good for a start. Thjere she waits for the all too familiar klaxon to sound. Planning to ease into the fight and get a read on her opponent, she opts for Carnassial Talon at first. He didn‘t have a visible weapon aside his cestus, so she‘d have the range advantage even when not utilizing her favored blade, for now at least. Her grin widened, green semblance sparks flashing across her body as she stared down her opponent and waited.

Castor was glad his opponent was willing take his bet, even if their ante was not near the quality he expected. Though not many people aside him would just be carrying something like he offered in his bet. Some extra cash to spend was always a good thing at least, the fact the match had yet to start was just pissing the crowd off even more. Speaking of the crowd, along with the usual rain of swear and typical jeers they now started to junk and other garbage at Castor’s direction. Ranging from empty soda cans to whatever crap they had on their hand, what little humor he found originally was soon starting to disappear. But on to more important things, Castor refocused his attention from the loud and moronic crowd, and to his opponent who was readying themselves. By now his opponent had already assessed the apparent range gap between both of their weapons, with a green flash going across their face he figured it was their semblance at use.

So, Castor figured he start the match with his as well, a quick clash with his weapon would cause the unique dust within it to spark to light. With flashes of lightning covering his fists, normally Castor would try to blitz his opponent with speed like he “tried” with his first match. However, he and his semblance have been feeling a tad bit…pent up the events over the past few weeks. So instead, Castor opted to start the match with fidi, if nothing else it would give the crowd a chance to finally shut up.

Castor focused his aura into the conjuring of her, sure enough the aura started to pool around and formed into usual semi transparent ghostly like shape, from the outside it looked like the head of a large snake skeleton just grew out of his back. As its body continued to grow Castor knew the chance of an attack was possible so he improvised. Before the entirety of her body was formed, he snapped his finger causing his summon to toss him high into the air. The extra friction caused by this made the electricity from his Cetus weapons roar with energy, where it would only take Castor a moment to come crashing back down not toward his foe but onto of the head of his summon forcing all the excess lightning into its body.

One might think such an attack would force the half-formed snake...thing to collapse but instead it sped up its creation process instantly and charged it with lightning causing its body to go off like a tesla coil. As the countdown went down Castor would point his right hand toward his foe like if he was holding a gun, while now atop of head of his now newly completed fifteen-foot-long snake summon whose lightning was being channeled from its body and into its gaping maw of a mouth.

“let starts the fight with a bang!” Castor yelled out as his snake summon fired off a bolt of condensed lightning at his opponent, the bolt would screech through the air as it raced towards his target.

Vlithra watched on as Castor punched his fists together with lightning dust flaring up and started summoning a living construct of Aura. With a snap of his fingers he is flung into the air and finished the summon by chrashing down into his by now bigger than Vlithra pet snake, discharging the lightning dust and boosting it‘s growth further. With his preparation Castor had made it clear what kind of threat he was going to be, but had also revealed some of his semblances properties. Duly noted, Vlithra keeps her hand away fomr her pouch. This thing seemed to absorb lightning dust, and while Vlithra couldn‘t know if that ability applied to all kinds of dust, she‘d rather be careful than helping her opponent by accident.

“Let‘s start the fight with a bang!” Castor yelled just as his pet snake fired it‘s powerful payload unto Vlithra, who decided to dash to the side as soon as that klaxon sounded. Afterwards, she ran in a curve inwards towards him, charging her semblance in advance. Her body starts crackling with the occasional green lightning, as she drew closer with each step, her cold analytic gaze focused on the pair. She was thinking of switching straight to her favored blade, but chose not to at the moment. She wanted to get a feel for her foe first.

As Vlithra appraoched, her body started to be enveloped in more green static as she came closer, her steps becoming bigger, more spaced out and each stronger than the last. “One.“ Vlithra muttered, and as she did she vanished from where she was and blitzed in a flash of green light right into castors face, her open palm extending forward and her body twisting as she stretched to grab the boys face. Her momentum would carry him with her across the arena until she span around her own axis and threw the boy forward towards the ground. With this she had just enough momentum to land on top of Castor, if he didn‘t get out of the way fast enough. She was ready to stab her blade down on him.

Castor never intended for the large dust breath to hit his opponent; it tends to be a running problem when using such a telegraphed attack against people who are literally training to fight monsters. His opponent’s quick speed took him by surprise though, in a flash they were already in his face. It seemed like his opponent was the type to just go, fist first and think later type. Castor barely had time to think let alone react and before he knew it Vilthra already had her hand wrapped around his face, he tried to get Fidi to counter but they both already had pasted her in an instant. It seemed Vilthra intend to end the fight quickly. Cast would at most have one single moment to escape and turn the fight back in his favor. A quick snape of his finger brought fidi's attention who raced to Castor, in the mean time he would wait for the best moment to initiate the counter. The best way to loosen the grip at least to him would be by focusing on the the fingers. He would pick both vilthra's thumb and middle finger as his targets, using both of his hand grab those fingers and attempt to bend them backwards as far as they would he could push. If it worked, it would be just enough for the rest of the fingers to loosen just enough for Castor slip out of the grab before his opponent had time to finish their plan of theirs.

Castor was worried they had the strength advantage but now it seemed to now had speed over him as well, an unexpected attack from fidi could allow him to gleam more info about her semblance.

Castor would snap his finger once again, and once again Fidi would snap to attention like a well-trained hound, the snake familiar would go into striking position aimed for the flank of its foe opening its “mouth” attempting to grab them, hopefully Castor would be fast enough to grab them while before they could react enough in time. If Vilthra was unable to escape the attack another snap from Castor would issue another instruction to Fidi who would violently shake her like a dog with its favorite chew toy. This would potentially cause any weapons that could cause a problem for Castor to fall out of her person, it also allows Castor to safely observe his opponent and learn more about her semblance. At first glance he would assume it was super speed, but he didn’t have enough info to make an accurate assessment.

By now Castor already returned to the safety of the ground floor, at least for now it would be safe as it seems this fight would be a little mmore complicatetd than expected.

Castor didn‘t need to struggle long to come free off the tigresses grip, as he was willingly tossed to the ground by the girl with her hot in pursuit, coming down on top of him with the blade first his aura about to be skewered by the blade of Carnassial Talon.
Vlithra had taken note of the snapping he was doing with his finger and she was irritated by the fact that he only needed to snap in order to command his pet. This was troublesome in the sense that he could just tell it what to do without verbal communication, as a result not getting a heads up on what the creature was going to do.
So wasting no time, she came down at Castor in the hopes of pressuring him enough before…

Vlithra looked over her shoulder and just saw the snake biting at her. Damn, it‘s fast. Before it could fully close around her she flipper her body forward so only her ankle was caught between the maw of Castor‘s massive pet. From there she was lifted up and then violently shaken around like a pitbull chowing down on it‘s favorite toy while Castor himself recuperated. Her body was flailed around and against the ground, needing Vlithra to take a moment to regain her composure and brace herself for the impacts on the ground. Once she did, she took hold of her other sword to prevent it‘s sheath from flying off her belt. The pouch should be fine.

Gritting her teeth she pulled her body in with her leg and slashed at the snakes head with her shortsword. She does so multiple times, without Fidi letting go.
“Alright, fine!“ Vlithra loudly exclaimed in an annoyed tone as she charged her semblance and kicked the beasts nose with all she got. The green lightning shooting through her limb and into Fidi. The impact should release her as a direct semblance empowered hit like this had the force of a speeding truck from which noone comes away unscathed.
With herself freed, she was now situated between Fidi and Castor, quite the predicament. It meant she had to divert her attention, though for now she warranted Fidi to be the bigger threat. Castor took some time creating her, so if Vlithra can eliminate the summon, she would have it way easier against her opponent. She charged her semblance once more, as a precaution.

It looks like Castor quick thinking got him out of an early lose, not only escaping his foe grab but was able to land a good hit in return thank to Fidi, with his snake summon now having Vlithra in it’s grasp it would only be a matter of time for the rag dolling should break her aura and net Castor the win. Worse case scenario he would have his snake familiar toss her into the air, or at least that was his intent, but it seemed his opponent had different plan as the same green “lightning” from before flashed again and in a single moment most of Fidi’s skull was pulverized. The sudden destruction of Fidi caused Castor to “flinch” before snapping back to reality with a “all right, put yourself back together...” and snapping his fingers once more. At that point multiple thought scurried inside his brain as Fidi started to reform her skull, it costed a small chunk of aura, but Castor figured the same thing happened for his opponent. Not only that but after the interaction between the two Castor also assumed the semblance Vlithra had was not element based so Castor would not be chowing down on it anytime soon. But he did notice one thing.

She seemed intent on keeping that sword in its sheath. He wondered why? Was it a preference? No, that doesn’t make sense, it seemed to be much longer in length compared to the one she was using. Now he was just curious. Castor hunched forward like a cat ready to pounce, his stance shifted from a nonchalant slouch to a grappler with both of his hands open and forward and low to the ground. He knew the semblance of his opponent would easily be able to handle if he was straight ahead with no plan. But with the help from his summon he may be able to close the gap without any trouble. Thought to be accurate, it must do more with the little false narrative he has been feeding everyone with how his snake worked. Throughout the match he has been snapping his finger to act as a command for Fidi, to be accurate he has been using to the snap as pretend command inputs to paint the idea that he requires to do such a thing, in fact the “flinch” he did when Fidi was damaged was also an act. Fidi in reality, always acts as an extension of Castor’s will.

Though this plan of his risks that ruse being found out as he makes another snap, with Fidi hissing in response in Vlithra’s direction to catch her attention and going to attack with the back end of her tail in a low seeping motion, trying to bait a reaction from Vlithra’s semblance. Fidi would continue in successive attempts to attack with her tail regardless of results. The main goal would be to distract her master’s opponent long enough for Castor to close the distance, make a grab for the sheathed sword and steal it. If any damage were to occur to Fidi Castor would quickly repair her to maintain the plan, Overall, it was a risky gamble and was hoping Vlithra would be too focused on Fidi to not notice any snapping, along with the hope that whatever her semblance does isn’t able to hit multiple places at once. If Castor can make to her without getting caught, he would surprise her with a quick snap behind her ear with one hand while the other hand reaching for his would be prize before pulling the sword away from Vlithra and Fidi who would swoop in with her hangs to yank and toss her opponent in the opposite direction.

As Vlithra looked back and forth between her two opponents it was Fidi‘s hissing the caught Vlithra‘s attention first. She knew Castor wasn‘t going to stay idle if she mingled with the Snake, but the circumstances didn‘t leave her with another option for the moment. Maybe she could bait him by pretending to be distracted? Could work, but she had to wait for the right moment. In the meantime she could go through what she had noticed about her opponent. The snapping Castor did seemed to be a command input, but then… wasn‘t it to simple of a command to give detailed instructions? It warranted that there was a link between him and his summon, one she assumed was telepahic in nature. Also, when his summon was damaged, the way he flinched warranted her to assume that he recieved some form of mental backlash. An idea, but for now there were more pressing matters.

Right before Fidi began a sweeping tail attack, one that Vlithra had decided to dodge with a quick hop to the side, she started hearing footsteps behind her. Castor was making his move. She couldn‘t turn around to check as the snake summon kept it‘s attack coming. This time Vlithra inteded to cut the tail when it intended to strike either deflecting it in a fluid motion to the side and striking at it or weaving around it, cutting off a bit during her movement. Regardless, those footsteps came closer and Fidi kept the attacks coming, it was very clear this was a distraction, but Vlithra played along up until she heard a snap…

With how close that snap was, Vlithra was startled at how quickly he had gotten so close. So she suddenly twisted her body around and slashed at body height behind her, only to see Castor hunched over, his upper body low to the ground… she had hit nothing but air. Vlithra braced for him to tackle her down or pick her up by the legs, but instead she felt a pull on her hip. Hadn‘t she braced she would have most certainly been loosing her balance, but not this time. Castor had reached… for her sheathed sword… of all things. He would find that the blade was not budging no matter how much he pulled at it, instead feeling himself being pushed as the green sparks around Vlithra‘s body quickly grew into lightning currents. Looking up he‘d see that he earned himself an angry grin and a fist that darted at his face, landing square against his cheek, sending the Snake Master flying as the amassed kinetic energy exploded from Vlithra‘s body, not focused but in all directions. Due to her close proximity not even Fidi gets out unscathed, while the impact wasn‘t as strong as a direct hit with a limb, the summon was launched through the air tumbling over the ground same as her master. Of course this maneuver had cost aura, but given that she was able to inflict this much damage to Castor, it was worth it.

“So, I take it you‘re eager to see my blade then?“ Vlithra exclaimed with a grin as she ran at Castor. She had switched her short-sword to her off hand, activating the Fingerprint lock on her blade she pulled it from it‘s sheath with her main hand, ready to start her onslaught. Once close enough, Vlithra started abusing her swords length to swing at the snake man outside of striking distance, alternating between her two swords. Viridian Naraka struck at Castor from varied angles while Carnassial Talon covered any gaps in her attack. Fidi would have to take a good while to ge to them, long enough for Vlithra to pressure Castor a significant amount.

Castor plan looked like it would have a decent chance of working, with quick timing he was able to get close enough to not only grab for the sheathed blade but also dodge his opponent counterattack…AT least that was the case until he tried to pull to blade free. For whatever reason the sword remained stuck like it was locked in place, maybe if he had more time Castor could try nabbing the whole thing. Of course, his opponent wouldn’t give the time and send him and fidi flying with her semblance once more. Castor felt like a ragdoll after a care accident, luckily his aura took most of the damage, but it was clear half assess plans wouldn’t work…

Castor couldn’t help snicker at her response, more importantly though he found himself giving ground to Vilthra’s swords, he figured she would have some skill with them…he also figured correctly that he was just a tad bit faster as he was able to dodge her weapons with relatively ease. The problem was she covered any gaps in her swings well, it didn’t allow much opportunity to counterattack safely. More importantly eventually he would go back to the edge of the ring, so Castor figured another drastic approach was needed. He loosened the grip around his left and “throw” one half of his weapon at VIlthra’s face as a surprise, of course he figured she would dodge out on instinct. Most would do so in that situation, right? The problem for her was she was not the actual target. His real target was his summon who still maintained some damage from the previous attack with several cracks throughout its body. His weapon should find its mark at the base of FIid’s skull and thanks to the aura circulating her “body” should trigger the dust within the weapon allowing it to siphon off its energy and charge another dose of lighting breath. With Castor he knew Vilthra would probably catch on to his plan, given how fast she figured out his previous one so he made the first move and with the next upcoming blade swings instead of dodging Castor would catch them with his bare hands…he would of course use aura to protect himself but he was more relying on the sudden action to surprise her along with hope that he had enough strength to stop the blade from moving. Grabbing her would have been the better option but given the distance between the two there was a good chance she would have activated her semblance before he could make contact.

IF he succeeded Castor would refuse to let go and would attempt to place get into her personal space and with a twisted little cocksure grin “let play chicken.” He said with that of course being the trigger for his summon to unleash a barrage of lighting onto both of them. He figured since Vilthra was between him and fidi that she would bare the brunt of the lighting dust breath.

Castor was relenting from the pressure Vlithra‘s onslaught put on him and Vlithra was estatic as she drove him further to the edge. They weren‘t quite there yet, but if he kept giving ground like this he would be just in position for her to make it too easy for her to knock him out. Though as soon as the snake man loosened his grip on one of his weapons and threw his arm forward she stepped to the side, spinning around her own axis and keeping that momentum to slash at Castor diagonally with her longsword. Quite the desperate tactic to get around her range, she thought as her langsword crashed into Castors aura protected hand with a force strong enough to push his body just a bit further. This had Vlithra surprised as she didn‘t expect the guy to just take the full brunt of this attack and surprise gave way to confusion as she tried pulling back her blade to realize that he was not letting go. She then slashed with her shortsword, again getting caught by his hand.

His weapon could be charged with dust... Dust seemed to empower his summon. His Summon! Castor could see it in her face as she was connecting the dots and that sudden realisation right before that beam of electricity hit her. “GAAH...RRRH.“ she let ouf a loud gasp as she is electrocuted, growing into an annoyed growl as she did her best to endure the electricity surging through her body. Castor wouldn‘t be unharmed, but Vlithra was taking the brunt.

She wasn‘t going to take this for long as green lightning started to mix with the one excuded by Fidi. With a death glare accompanied by a menacing growl, Vlithra released another shockwave, pushing the current and diverting it away from Vlithra momentarily as the wind she blew with it hit Castor full front, not enough to push him but irritating at the very least. In the same moment she suddenly pulled her blades outward, leveraging her larger body and higher strength forward against Castors hold on her blades. If he held on, he‘d be pulled to her with her delivering a nasty headbutt, her forehead protected by an extra layer of aura clearly visible, followed by her knee jolting upwards and embedding itsself in his gut. Such concussive force should free her blades for sure and enable her to swing at the fellow again. With the Fidi eventually running out of energy to fire the beam, Castor had to do something else to deter Vlithra from going after him.

Castor knew each of his “plans” of attacks were just a bunch of gambles at best, it tends to happen when he uses his summon. She was always something of an aura guzzler. Meaning he’s rather trying to end any meaningful fight quick and if possible, with as much flash as possible to entertain himself or a crowd. Though this case the crowd only wanted to see his ass handed on a platter. He missed the days when his showboating won him praise instead of jeers and insults. More importantly Though it seemed Castor had just a little bite more strength, or at least grip strength compared to his opponent. Not that he was entirely surprised given that most modern combat techniques focus more on striking than grappling. It wouldn’t take long for his foe to realize his plan but by then it was too late as Fidi rained down a stream of lightning upon both.

Castor expected…or more accurately hoped it would be enough to win him the match but what he didn’t expect the Vilthra’s to have the endurance to withstand to torrent of dust collapsing on them. More importantly His semblance and following headbutt to the face caught him off guard. If didn’t have his aura cushioning the blows his bruise face would be busted open by now. Castor would still hold on to her blades though, still losing aura fast. He felt the best option was to try to return a headbutt of his own but before he could rear his head back to counter. He felt a sharp pain in his gut as Vilthra’s firmly planted in his gut. As the latest blow landed Castor’s feet reacted on their own throwing himself back as he loosened his grip on the blades in hopes to gain some distance from her and buy enough time for Fidi to charge another…it was at this point he realized where he was.

Castor mistakenly placed himself at the edge of the arena, Fidi wouldn’t have enough time to charge another stream of dust, so Castor had to improvise. Castor flung his hands up as if he was admitting “defeat.”

“All right, you’re the better huntsman.” He said with a sigh of discontent as the crowd continues it irate jeers all of them trying to get his opponent to ignore him and finish the match, hopefully this sudden gesture from Castor was enough to catch Vilthra by surprise to have stop if but for a moment.

It’s all he would need as he continued “but if this was an actual fight…things wouldn’t have ended so pretty.” Now small but cold look in his face, only lasted for a second at most. It was at that point his summon came from behind Vilthra in a desperate attempt force her off the ring by sing it’s now lightning imbued body as a battering ram.

Castor was reeling from Vlithra‘s impromptu attack. What was better even was that she had cornered him with her swings, just a few more and he‘d be at the edge, then she just had to ring him out and this would be game. Her grin grew cocky as she swung more at the snake man, until, at the edge, her opponent had flung their arms up… a gesture that caused Vlithra to hesitate and raise an eyebrow at the guy as her semblance was charged in preperation.
“All right, you‘re the better huntsman.“ he sighed.

Vlithra had taken note of multiple things from the last few moments. For once, halfway through the fight her opponent had stopped snapping their fingers to command their summon, meaning that this boy wasn‘t honest. He played with farces and was therfore trickier than he let on. So if her assumption was correct, this... was another ploy.
“But if this was an actual fight… things wouldn‘t have ended so pretty.“ At the notion, Vlithra looked over her shoulder to see Fidi rapidly approaching with unexpected speed. In any other circumstance, Vlithra would be hit by this attack...

She grunted. “Two.“ being the only thing she mutters in response, as right before the snake crashed into her or Castor could act, she flared up in neon green lightning with the current lined and mixed with an oily black color as her semblance seemed to rage within her own body momentarily. Vlithra pushed herself off the ground and jumped in an arc over Fidi‘s speeding body, performing a backlip mid air and landing safely. Fidi on the other hand, was so focussed on hitting Vlithra that she didn‘t slow down… instead crashing into her owner.

There was that klaxon signaling the end of the fight. Vlithra sighed, exhaling through her nose... a clear indication that she was not contend with this outcome. She would have rather defeated him herself, instead of having him defeated by his own desperation, but she supposed she couldn‘t complain. Her semblance charged body strutted foward, in rather strained steps, to the edge of the arena where Castor was ringed out and was collecting himself. She made a note of not stepping outside the arena yet and waiting for her opponent. Her partially green glowing hair flowed from the pressure her body was desperately keeping in from her semblance.

“Indeed. If this were an actual fight… the bell wouldn‘t have saved you. I would not have given you the courtesy of summoning your pet snake... and I would not let you regain your footing.“ Vlithra exclaimed in an almost strict manner, as she slowly released all the energy she had pent up in her body. Her looks slowly returning to normal.
She then sheathed Carnassial Talon and stabbed Viridian Naraka in the ground next to her to use as a makeshift rest, as her body actually now did seem rather strained. A look on the aura gauge revealed that technically both combatants aura gauges have dropped just past the halfway mark. While Castors, was lower, Vlithra‘s was on the cusp of halfway depleted despite having sustained less hits. After having relaxed, her expression shifted from stern and serious to calm with the hint of smile. “Having said that, I have to commend you… not only for pushing me this much, but for trying to pull that sort of stunt on me. I‘m so used to people playing by the rules here... it genuinely surprised me for a moment.“

Castor was sure his plan, while a bit of a gamble on his part would work out in the end. Vilthra had shown herself to be the overly aggressive type and he was hoping to capitalize on that. But as it turns out she was a lot smarter than Castor gave her credit for. Which costed the foolish snake Faunus dearly as his summon entirely focused on its’ attack was unable to alter course and as a result crashed into her owner headfirst for the brief moments before impact Castor’s eyes widen like deer in headlights. He expected her to try to force her way out of the situation with her semblance, but before Castor could give a new command to fidi or undo her summons, she had already thrown him off the edge of the ring and crashing onto the floor beyond. With his unceremonious defeat the crowd usurpingly erupted in cheers, Castor already knew he was the villain for this match, but he was still surprised by how much they wanted him to lose. Reacting to Vilthra’s response he couldn’t help but snap back with a cackle which erupted from him “you’re not wrong!” he calmed down after a moment before continuing “but you’re assuming I would give you time to draw your blades or even let you see me coming.’" He shot back with a playful if sharp taunt.

More importantly though Castor remembered the wager he made at the beginning of the match with a slight grumble Castor casually tossed the fire dust marble towards Vilthra, confident she could easily and safely catch her newly won prize. “That shits expensive so don’t waste on it on something small like a beowolf.” He wasn’t lying either, the small minuscule marble now in her possession had more fire power than a pound of the command variety of dust used for either everyday use of weapon by your average huntsman. It easily blows a hole in something as big as a goliath if used right for example.
Her compliment did however take Castor aback, with his eyes flashing for the briefest of moments with genuine shock, it’s honestly been to long since anyone has paid him a genuine compliment that Castor wasn’t sure how to respond at first staring blankly before snapping back to reality. “Well, if more people fought like you maybe being a huntsman isn’t so bad after all.” He replied. Casto quickly dug through his small back of dust which he “forgot” to use his match before fetching out another marble shaped dust crystal this one would be a bright yellow instead…though he wouldn’t know seeing as he was color blind but Castor could tell what kind of dust he was holding given it’s unique “texture”

as he held it between his fingers he could feel the warmth from it similar to the fire dust crystal, unlike that dust through the edges for this new dust were much sharped in comparison like if he wasn’t careful he poke himself with like a needle.

“Let me show what this little thing can do.” He said with a newly formed shit eating grim before tossing up the electric dust crystal in the air, if he wasn’t careful that little piece of dust could do some serious damage to himself and others around him. Fortunately, this was a trick both she and everyone had gone accustomed to thanking to the match. With fidi coming from bellow and “devouring” the pure dust like animal and before their eyes the snake skeleton started glowing more intensely than ever as if she had become lightning itself the people nearest to her would be forced to shield their eyes for the intensity of her shine was to strong and painful. Castor though…either had grown used to it or simply did not value his eyesight like other and stared straight ahead. The jaws of his “summon” opened towards the roof above them like a beast ready to roar, but this gesture all was aware as the electricity coiled around her being condensed into one point until it all suddenly exploded outward with such intense force it made her previous dust breaths look like mere sparks. A sudden though may be creeping into the thoughts of the people witnessing this…what if this had hit Vilthra? Their answer could be found above them with the schools’ newly formed sunroom. Granted its edge were bit melted…and charred thanks to the lighting with fidi soon disappearing as the lightning died with her.

But her master Castor was nowhere to be seen…as it turns out as he was busying showing off, he was interrupted by an unexpected phone call “yeah I just finished…. you better be right about this, I’ll head over.” Not the kind of day he was expecting but at least he was able to have some fun before his new job, going to probably have to fabricate something for the teachers because he was going out to Vacuo for the next week or so but shouldn’t be that hard. His face suddenly shifted from no chantant to disgustingly cold after all their certain bastard he’s gunning for.
