Now he has one of those books. Shurik started quietly reading. Apparently, the book was about primarily transforming weapon, including using of Dust. But those telescopic and fragile mechanisms didn't draw any attention of Shurik, so he was seeking for more traditional arms. Some of them were an exotic grenades. Interesting that not many dust grenades were seen at huntsmen disposal. It may be related to dust instability in thin grenade shell, but there was one of them with a material, similar to glue, and it's not even dust one.
Some of the describes are missing, but the shooter can nearly understand how it works. On the next pages there is... Something, that can disrupt dust use. Now that is intriguing.
"Dust disruptor can fail dust system in a weapon or other mechanism, if dust-source is not under thick layer of protection." And picture with it. It was some kind of rifle, with a lot of devices attached to it, but nothing more in it. There is not enough description and blueprints for understanding of how this tool can work.

- Interesting... Seems that one can absorb others Grimms biomass. Interesting, is he able to consume their experience with it?.. - some questions were rhetorical as Shurik continued to read about weaponry. It can't be said that many of the examples were dangerous enough to be "restricted". Seems like this is restricted, so some morons wouldn't able to build an unstable pipe bomb from blueprints of fire dust rifle. Understandable though.

It is able to emit some wave of unkown origin that renders dust crystal unstable making them explode with the slightest shock, making most Hunter's weapon unusuable. This, combined with it's great experience of fighting us, it's considerable strength, it's great agility and of course, it's ruthlessness caracteristic of Grimms make it a very dangerous foe.' Dust disruptor... And an unknown wave that making dust unstable? The similarities can't be unnoticed here. Maybe someone had the samples of that Grimm, so he managed to create a prototype of that weapon. Of course, this is had to be dangerous, but still...

Before opening, he heard... Footsteps from other side of the door. Louder... The Alex stopped, blocking Nero's way by his hand also, listening.
After some time, they started to slowly faint. Someone was coming through, giving a hella stress to Shurik, but the way out must be safe now. With a slight nod, Shurik cautiously opens the door and slips in, letting Nero to get out too, shutting the door after her.

He need to sleep in his room. But he is finding himself inspired by that weaponry book. His technician-self now was thinking about more equipment, adding new stuff to his arsenal. He grabbed the notebook, writing about everything he have in mind now. Of course, after his "memoirs" it should be hidden from outer sight, because someone can guess that his descriptions are not really original. But it's not bothering much.
