Ash-blonde hair roughly styled into a sweptback, slack ponytail. It suits a gracefully aged face and does well to frame the matronly qualities from which her other features shine through. Blemish free skin for the most part in a pale palette that isn’t diminished by the few stress lines beginning to appear. Much of the right side of Wednesday’s face is obscured from an eye patch and sweep of angular bangs concealing a missing eye. The lone eye like a bright winter's day pairs to long lashes and sparkles with a wisdom in equal measure to an oft casually lofted mischievous smile. Slightly darker eyebrows than her blonde hair arch beneath her brow, topping a fine, straight nose. Thin lips are glossed with a rare application of cosmetics.

Physically imposing with a tall brick build, Wednesday’s long legs make up the majority of her statuesque figure where evenly distributed muscle offers well-toned definition that her femininity isn’t lost in. Neither end of her from the top or bottom is imbalanced rocking a modest chest and hips fitting a faint hourglass figure carried with an air of poise contrasting a violence in bearing. It’s quite apparent that she has the physique of a seasoned Huntress still well in her prime that maintains a rigorously active lifestyle. Wednesday is, quite frankly, a big woman coming in at a middleweight class bulk. The buffed shine to the rugged material keeps Wednesday’s gentler points from being lost to the obvious qualities she emphasizes.

Prominent tattoos and an abdomen scar are tucked beneath her clothing. Whenever the occasion arises where one gets to see them it’s made clearer the history of conflict she’s experienced and the deeply rooted pride in her heritage. Wednesday seems like a relic that survived into the present, a warrior out of time whose fierce will carries through no matter how fine the clothing she dons or gentle a demeanor.

Outfit Description:
Minimal differences exist between day-to-day activity and combat garb as every piece of clothing worn by Wednesday is informed by a strong sense of practicality. Nothing is on her person that lacks a purpose or detracts from ease of movement. She dresses professionally and in a manner that pays respect to her cultural identity and station. There's hardly a thread out of place while still radiating a beastly nature beneath the tidy trappings.

A black body glove top swathing her arms and torso overlaid with a sharp, low-cut blue dress shirt trimmed in gold at the cuffs and hem. The handsomely tailored double-breasted black coat is similarly trimmed in gold buttons with its lapel undone, creating a diamond opening to her chest. The coat's sleeveless design slips the blue dress sleeves through. Wednesday's slim black, wool-blend performance suit pants end at the suede high-heeled combat boots on her feet furnished in golden filigree worked into the back of the heels and trimming the edge of the soles. The heels are far from being flimsy as they are as durable as any combat boots with their metal reinforcement.

Wednesday's grey fur trim, dark mantle has matching leather belts crossing her chest to secure it at her back. An interior of bright blue ensures a contrast against the dark exterior colors. The intricate gold buckles are fashioned in the shape of angular feathered wings. The mantle slopes from the right shoulder to the left bicep with thick black cloth on top of which her emblem is proudly embossed in a metallic silver at a large, skewed position over the high back. The right side of it is fitted with an ornate golden pauldron consisting of a solid cap for the shoulder resting on top of another engraved layer that goes down over the upper arm. A large tassel hangs at just above the elbow down to her hip. Bright ornamentation contrasts well with its blue interior.

A fold of fabric covering her right eye affixed to a broad band around her forehead constitutes Wednesday's dark eyepatch. The fold is somewhat form-fitting, matching the vague contours of her face. Underneath is a pitch-black glass prosthetic. A few other accessories of note are the twin armbands she wears with the left one emblazed with the Beacon Academy coat of arms. Pinned to the left breast of her coat is a delicate broach.

Wednesday is a fan of asymmetrical fashion. This taste reflects in pretty much every aspect of her wardrobe and also her gravitating towards multiples of three. Outfits can generally be expected to be handmade like her favorite grey turtleneck sweater made of wool from the sheep her clan raised. Formal clothes like Wednesday’s professor garb are tailor made.

Wednesday is what many people would expect of a woman born and raised in the beating heart of a culture that valued not only strength of limb, but also the strength of character such a society tempered in its people. She fashions her image as a tried and tested warrior displayed in a rugged appearance and aggressive fighting style. Every bit is a reflection of the fiercely determined woman whose ambitions have since been shifted from her own fulfillment to the care and development of others. Wednesday has a deep love for those who are close to her and a loyalty that extends past her immediate circle of family and friends to those she considers allies. Honor, fidelity, and loyalty to one’s friends are cornerstones to her cultural and personal ethics.

A tight knit society surviving through constant hardship through cooperation made it a point to be highly sociable and that shows strongly in how Wednesday can be downright nosy to the being intrusive at the extreme end of it. Social circles were often formed from birth and if members couldn’t sort out their differences, it meant a less cohesive unit and increased the likelihood of getting dead quicker. Those you shared a childhood with were who you had to depend on, and Wednesday learned early on that clearing the airs got things running smoothly. Vale might have given her an ounce of their tact to work with, but pretty words won't get things through to people.

Her status as a Huntress and, more specifically, a warrior, has her life revolve heavily around combat. Clan politics and living so close to Grimm made her grow up fast to survive. Every move is another piece of the bigger picture she’ll need to account for and weigh its significance. She’ll not sit still when she could be doing something productive, even leisure activities are rituals to achieve balance and sustenance instead of mere indulgence. This connection grounds her to the present and keeps her from dwelling too deeply in the past as it, along with other processes, are tangible exercises in improving herself.

Wednesday can easily come off as uncaring or callous when it's quite the opposite, albeit in a warped sense. For as much as she is empathetic, she is just as, if not more so, deeply fatalistic and oftentimes submits to her interpretation of the will of fate. The strength of her faith lends an unshakeable assurance that manifests in a calm and collected demeanor in any circumstance. In spite of, or rather, because of these deep-seated beliefs, Wednesday is a very loving person even if she does not show it. A fatalistic woman whose views paint her as bloodthirsty and cold from an outside perspective. A dry wit and sarcastic sense of humor colors her dialogue bountifully. Fully shaking off many of the habits and afflictions received from her past still proves difficult as Wednesday won’t stop at half-measures when teaching her students and actively encourages them to exercise their own initiatives and not relying on her for answers. This approach gives her teaching a distinct feel as Wednesday gives her students the tools they need and the knowledge to use them, but the actual nurturing happens when they begin to apply what they’ve learned.

A noticeable trait is how old-fashioned Wednesday is in mannerism; how she speaks, for one, is like something out of old Remnant. She accentuates syllables in staccato to an almost sing-song effect. It is an accent of her people and identifies her as being raised outside of the Kingdom of Vale in frontier land. Others usually don’t pick up on it considering it only asserts itself when Wednesday is truly heated and remains faint for the most part as a result of how long she's spent in Vale. Her vernacular still doesn't help her image of being a wizened grandmother from how olden time it sounds given its sentence structure at times.

Backstory Highlights:
Wednesday hails from a nomadic clan of seafarers and traders that often dabble in raiding. The unforgiving cold of Solitas made them hardy people and navigating the harsh lands and waters were still favorable to the restrictions of Atlas or being quarantined in Mantle. Wednesday knew the different flavors of freedom from her upbringing in this environment and the cost to hold onto them. It gave her pride in the strength of her community who were able to live as they did as their own masters. Still, an insular experience was not something she wished for herself, and she made every attempt to learn of Remnant beyond.

The ravens made for interesting playmates and later messengers in war when her maiden years had passed. Wednesday's beloved Hue and Moon would be the last ravens of Solitas she would take with her to Vale.

The nomadic tribes eventually settled in the cradle of a hospitable valley nestling a mouth to the sea. Her people enjoyed a peaceful life there and gained renown as seafarers able to traverse unconventional waterways often too high risk for others to undertake. This put them in relations with the neighboring Mistral’s underworld fringe. As life was hard, settlements possessing much needed resources made for easy targets. Worse than pirates, but raiders. They weren’t the only ones acting as such, but they were considerably successful, and thus an infamous people.

A Dust mining company conducting surveys found a vein within their territory. The company struck a deal with them that allowed them the right to mine the Dust for a period of time. Wednesday’s clan agreed. The company stayed in the area for longer than their agreement was settled on. The clan then forced them out. In their greed, the company got a private militia to attack and try to take control of the area. One method they employed was hiring a rival clan that operated in close proximity to them.

Their raiding ways garnered little good will among their neighbors turned competition and then adversaries.

It was in a span before and within this that Wednesday would start a family resulting in four children. One of whom's fame rivaled her own in the coming battles.

The prolonged conflict saw their land seized and themselves forced out. Negativity was on the rise and drew in the Grimm. As a result of these factors, the peoples splintered and raiding became worse as the dire state of their lives became more drastic.

Wednesday took it upon herself to reunite her clansmen in an effort to retake their land. As a sign of putting old grudges to rest, she would surrender an eye in order to secure an alliance with the folks she warred with prior. Many other things were sacrificed in her pursuit. Many of them she has still yet to process.

They gained traction but ultimately reclaimed a barren valley after the company strip-mined whatever useful trace of Dust they could find. It wasn’t habitable anymore, and the losses made it all the less worth it. Supporting the alliance was no longer feasible with the lack of resources and a safe haven to make home. Wednesday could only take her family to greener pastures. This found them in Atlas hiring themselves as mercenaries and gathering information on the company that destroyed their home. Retribution was at the forefront of their minds.

Internment and a deal/threat offered by Atlas after that ordeal saw Wednesday reconnecting with relations she made with the Huntsmen who had originally been her opposition in the old conflict. Joining the Atlas military was a surprise. The "suggestion" was beneficial for her and her family's health after what they had been through.

Independent contract work as soldiers of fortune lasted them a while with the military. Yet it felt as more or less the same war she had experienced in the frontier and long grown weary of. Teaching was a welcome nourishment to the soul as Wednesday discovered. A friend had convinced her of staying in for a few classes and the rest was history. Attending under the pretense of a Specialist candidate became a regular part of her routine and Wednesday learned much from her time there. Experience fighting the Grimm and against private militias in protracted engagements as long as she had made her a sought-after instructor combined with her aptitude as a teacher.

A Huntress license was naturally something she acquired after applying for one and passing the screening.

Eventually, Wednesday moved with her family to Vale. Starting from almost nothing again was familiar and refreshing, more so now that she had gained a new freedom. Proving herself to the people and earning the position within the academy remains a proud accomplishment and worth the years of effort. Earning a position as a professor at Beacon Academy is a distinguishing chapter of Wednesday's saga.

It wasn’t until much later on that she received a formal education at Atlas Academy focused within its military branch. This was a stepping stone for her arrival at Beacon Academy as a teaching assistant before she was officially taken on as a professor.

Semblance Description:
A highly useful intelligence gathering Semblance that allows Wednesday Aura projections of herself capable of casting her five senses beyond her physical constraints. Two projections are the upper limit of complete sensory experience with many instances still able to be fielded at the cost of specializing in specific senses. They can be compared to drones that have limited capacity for surveillance equipment when operating. Once made, a projection’s capabilities cannot be altered. Different instances can be merged to combine their faculties with the Aura drain scaling in those cases, but the only way they can be further modified is if Wednesday is in contact with them to give them new senses.

These projections are intangible for the most part and can’t normally interact with the world, making them generally immune to physical forms of damage. Interactions with foreign Aura and Dust can disrupt them and cause them to break down. Intangibility is a secondary part of its ability where they can “possess” things and share a target’s perception abilities. This means that Wednesday can experience what a target affected by her Semblance is experiencing. The possession can be fought off by means of Aura and Dust, but also through will power and mental fortitude. The quality of sensory information does improve if the target is willing, making it useful for widespread coordination. Wednesday makes use of this with her ravens, Hue and Moon, when she sends them out on scouting missions to vastly increase her view of an area.

Range is not really an issue given how the projections can possess targets and move freely under their own power. Drain on her Aura reserves comes into play when tapping into the sensory feed putting a negligible cost towards maintaining them. The creation of a projection is a flat cost depending on the sensory capabilities Wednesday decides to give it and sustains it until the Aura runs out. Wednesday can choose to feed more Aura into an instance to maintain it further. This is a major reason why complete projections with all five senses are limited to two at most as any more and Wednesday is liable to burn through her reserves rapidly in a short amount of time. Spamming them is an even greater burden that heavily taxes her as breaking the projections takes a bit of her Aura from her. Too many instances, and it can become a sensory overload.

Drain doesn’t prove an issue until actively making use of the projections, looking through their eyes or other senses costs Aura along with a degree of concentration. Higher fidelity over distance will require greater concentration with the greatest quality needing Wednesday to be stationary.

“Gunnblindi” is the name Wednesday has given one technique of her Semblance. Projecting onto a target the “blindness” that comes with a missing eye or alternatively projecting the right eye she lost. This is the pinnacle of her mastery and completes herself as a warrior through regaining true sight. The degree to which it affects her capabilities should not be underestimated, especially with Wednesday becoming whole. For personal reasons of a vow, this technique only comes out when she must fight in defense of others and never for her own gain. Not many know that she can do this at all as the projections all share that maimed feature.

Its synergy with Dust is fairly high, but the woman’s disinterest towards the art left the realization of its potential lacking. Wednesday much prefers melee combat, and it reflects in how well she can abuse the Gravity infused spear of hers to pull off truly insane maneuvers. However, the extended time with this singular Dust element gifted Wednesday an instinctive understanding of it because of how her Semblance works. Years and years have instilled a deep familiarity with its intricacies, but it comes down to more of a first-hand feel she cannot really translate into teachable concepts. A case of hyper-specialization and probably wasted potential. It’s just as well as infusing Dust into her projections make them more volatile and less controllable.

Projections generally appear in her vague image and have an outline of whatever she may be wearing at the time of enacting them. Feathery particles in more of a grey-blue trail off of projections that dissipate shortly after. All aspects of Wednesday’s Semblance have been thoroughly explored and there is little if anything new she can learn of it. It is fully realized and finely trained.

Most note how spooky it is that Wednesday seems to know as much as she does, and she isn’t inclined to reveal how exactly she learns the knowledge she does. It isn’t out of place that a woman with a thirst for knowledge as she has such a Semblance. The bit of fun she gets is a good bonus out of it.

Two weapons; each a tool of grim design. Clear purpose Wednesday honed to whet their edge and temper their spirit to mesh as one with her up-close and personal fighting style. Gungnir is a Gravity Dust infused spear capable of shifting between two melee forms of spear and sword/dagger. Valföðr is an axe/sawed-off shotgun combination mecha-shift functioning as Wednesday’s main method of engaging targets at a range. The two come together to form a hewing spear/bayonetted trench gun combination mecha-shift taking the best qualities of both weapons and improving upon them.

Gungnir’s lozenge-shaped spear head is divoted on both of the edges at either side of a thick central rib. The head tapers smoothly to a sharp edge on either side of the rib that makes it suitable for cutting, thrusting, and hewing. The “wings” flanking the base of it prevent the spear from over penetrating, acting as a cross guard, and have uses for parrying and disarming. In dagger and bayonet form, the spearhead retracts to 15 cm in length while being fully extended as a spear puts it at 25 cm. It is also viable as a sword when the haft is retracted. The spearhead itself becomes the bayonet fixture while the haft acts as the trench gun 's barrel.

The Gravity Dust infusion supports a swift and finesse response in its melee enhancement to greatly increase speed, acceleration, and torque. The conduit system is highly customizable in layout to the point where micro-scale gravitational field manipulation is possible. Precision control can enact repulsion or even just allow it to move freely in space. Alternating quickly induces oscillations, giving it a high frequency blade. A technically demanding weapon liable to cause bodily harm to the wielder due to its force multiplying system. It is Wednesday’s favored weapon.

Valföðr shifts between a sawed-offed shotgun and an axe empowered by the shotgun muzzle positioned opposite its edge. Tight quarters and field sweeping are its specialties, dealing heavy damage as well as a clear signal of the greatest threat on the battleground. Firing off rounds that sound like wolves howling certainly helps instill a certain image into the opposition. Maintaining a distance won’t keep them out of danger as her weapons coming together give the shotgun a rifled barrel. The Gravity Dust infused haft of Gungnir configuring itself to make sure she can put a round into a target beyond any right a shotgun has to be shooting that far.

The flat of Gungnir’s blade is etched in runes, aesthetics of her people she proudly displays and a sign of her personal attachment to it. Valföðr's muzzle is discolored, revealing the base metal from the coating as a testament to the heat generated from its firepower. They have an overall rough and worn appearance that adds to their air of refined savagery. A leather belt wrapping around her waist holds their sheathes on either side. Gungnir is kept in its compact sword form on her right while Valföðr rests in a loop on her left. A loop on her back can hold Gungnir in its spear form.

Choice armor pieces and supplementary ammunitions. Often specializes for whatever kind of situation Wednesday thinks she’ll face, but has some staples regardless of expectations. A Huntress should never not want to keep some explosives or sharp edges on her.

A pair of knuckle-studded half gloves covering the top portion of her hands featuring exposed fingertips. The studs’ pointed design is tremendously beneficial when inflicting a good punch.

Laymen ingenuity with Valföðr's iron sight attachment using Hard-Light Dust enables certain other types of optics to be incorporated. These include holographic sights, a variable scope, and even night vision. The preset prism matrix arranges Hard-Light Dust to interact with light in such a way that allows these functions.

Fighting Style:
War’s influence has integrated itself in every facet of her abilities. A severe upbringing that manifests as a casual approach to violence. The balance of honor, mercy, and humanity is one Wednesday had tipped and relinquished many times. Survival as a foremost concern perpetuates and shaped the type of fighter Wednesday is. Battlefield combat is the kind of fighting where rules go out the window and it comes down to purely doing what one can to survive and win. The question of "the strongest" is not something she would entertain in that context. If Wednesday needs to take someone out, she won't wait to meet them in a fair duel. She'd kill them in their sleep. The way she fights now could be seen as handicapping herself by not using her full set of skills, but another way of seeing it is her proving herself beyond a capacity for uninhibited brutality. Its markedly more gentle and sanitized.

Intimate melee is where Wednesday thrives be it hand-to-hand techniques or use of dagger and axe. Weapon handling is a central point to her grounded style in that her hand positions and attacks are modeled after how one holds and uses them. Striking with an axe or dagger would translate to striking with the hands or fist in a similar manner in Wednesday’s case as those are what she is an expert in using. This makes the transition between bare-handed combat and weapon wielding seamless and expands on the base martial art.

As a system of self-defense and combat developed in actual battle unique to her culture, it contains throws, strikes, kicks, chokes, joint locks, pain, and weapon techniques stressing grappling primed to answer real engagements. Compact and practical; Wednesday employs fast executions as the style is meant for multiple adversaries in a given scenario, requiring things to be done quickly and efficiently. She’ll enter encounters bearing this and keep things close, hardly ever over extending and specializing in employing the hard points of her body to strike and counter blows. A straight-up brawl is how she prefers things to be and hardly keeps her hands clean for it. Cleaning up, however, incentivizes Wednesday to end a fight quickly. Its heavy emphasis on multiple enemy combatants can prove a detriment when facing against a singular opponent skilled in a one-on-one discipline.

When dual-wielding Valföðr and Gungnir, the dagger serves as a parrying tool where the axe takes up the primary role of landing powerful blows to end the engagement. Gungnir is the main weapon used to probe and create openings where Valföðr would come in to exploit the gap. Applying pressure and deceiving the opponent into making a response are a few ways she accomplishes this and is not limited to Gungnir as the axe can hook onto things and drag out openings for the dagger or spear to strike at a critical point.

Wednesday is skilled in using either weapon on their own depending on the conditions, selecting the most effective fighting style and combination of weapons. Axe and dagger/sword for close range, then switching to spear and shotgun for mid-range. Shaping explosions from the shotgun into energy arcs using the spear is but one way Wednesday makes use of this combination. Another would be using gravitational field manipulation to attach the shotgun to the spear and swing it around for unpredictable buckshot volleys at close range. Long range is where their combined form comes into play as a rifled shotgun or outright throwing the homing spear. Wielding the spear on its own is when her skill becomes more “pure” and arguably most lethal.

- Depth-perception. Not having a full set of eyes is a detriment, but one Wednesday has learned to live with. Somethings just can’t be compensated for, however.
- Tribalistic. Wednesday doesn’t hesitate to put her own kith and kin above others. This can be problematic when an action she decides to take is in favor of her loyalties and their interests, but to the detriment of herself and everyone else. It can cause tension with those outside of her social group.
- Wednesday has a sink or swim approach to fostering. She'll teach them the necessities, but won't actively protect them from failure. She wants to develop strength of character, and this can come off as cold or outright cruel when she doesn't stop people from inevitable failure. She doesn't like wasted effort, however, and will step in harshly at that point.

- Wednesday is a mother of five, adoptive and maternal. A daughter of hers is probably even attending Beacon Academy at this time. It goes without saying that she absolutely loves her children.

- Using her Semblance so often on Hue and Moon along with her cycloptic vision has imparted bird like mannerisms in her. Head tilts and aiming her ears on a focus point as some examples.

- Wednesday's culture uses a patronymic system or matronymic in less common cases in their naming convention. Her closest official surname would be Burrdóttir which directly translates as Daughter of Burr after her father. Bynames are also an intrinsic part of how one is known, so one person could have as many as a dozen names to go by. One such byname she uses as a surname is as her position as a professor of Beacon Academy: Haptasnytrir.
